The north shore of Hawaii's "Garden Island" is a place that we think will give you the experience of being in the "Hawaii" that we all need and expect on vacation. It affords you the pace and tranquility of the tropics and still has the activities, restaurants and shopping to meet most people's needs. A hike or boat ride along the nearby Napali coast will be one of the highlights of your stay. Princeville, a world class resort, is about a mile away from Hanalei and provides two golf courses and a modern gym with spa and swimming pool. In addition, its views of Bali Hai are unmatched.
The house is located near the small village of Hanalei and 200 yards from the Pavilion Beach on Hanalei Bay. The cedar wood interior extends throughout and lends warmth and comfort to the downstairs living area with it's cathedral ceilings, floor to ceiling windows and modern kitchen. Perfect for one or several couples or a family (we can fit a few children over our maximum number of 6), this 4 bedroom, 2 bath house is in immaculate condition and has many updated amenities that will certainly add to your vacation experience. Several restaurants, specialty shops and a grocery store are within easy walking distance. COME SEE US IN PARADISE!!!

Why the Owner Chose Hanalei
We chose this house because of it's close proximity to both Hanalei town and Hanalei beach, which has been voted the "best beach in America" at least twice.

I would recommend this property to a friend. It is a perfect location for family beach access. Light and airy feeling. Grass for kids to play on that is level with the first floor which was nice for our 1 year old. Grandparents in downstairs BR and parents with child upstairs was a wonderful set up. Clean and comfortable.

Good price and this place is cute from the outside and located so close to the Pavillion you can be on the beach in a minute, but the inside has been neglected. There is rust in the bathtub, the microwave should be in the trash..it was rusty and seemed like a fire hazard, the ceiling fan down stairs clicks so loud that you cannot sleep with it on....the beds seemed cheap or worn down. My bed had a broken bed frame that made the mattress (covered in plastic) sink down about 5 inches. Unless they invest in some upgrades I would not recommend this.
Owner response:Hi, Some of these criticisms were valid. I was not aware of the microwave's condition and so I replaced it immediately. I have looked at all of the beds and have not, up to this point, found a broken frame or plasitc mattress cover but will look again. I will also have the fan checked. I have depended on others to inform me about what is not working but will have to be more attentive in the future. In addition I think that the renter that wrote this review was not happy with the fact that the house needed extra cleaning after they left so I had to charge a little extra.

I think the best thing about this house is how close it is to the beach. It worked well for us b/c we have a baby and had to go back and forth a lot. The house itself definitely needs some updating and fixing up, but overall it met our needs. Mahalo!

The location of this house is great - we really enjoyed having the beach just a 1 minute walk away and the shops and restaurants of Hanalei also within a short walking distance. The house was very clean and spacious and has everything you may need. The photos are an accurate depiction of the various rooms in the house. Without hesitation I would recommend this rental property to family and friends.

The location of the Miller House could not be any better. Hanalei Bay is my favorite beach in the world and this property is right around the corner from the famous Pavillions Beach Parkā¦.just a 1 min walk. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous. Everything felt so comfortable, warm, inviting and very clean. I would highly recommend this house to anyone who is looking to have a great stay on Kauai.
