The large back lanai is furnished with comfortable furniture and looks out toward the creek on the neighboring property and undeveloped land beyond where the lovely melody of birds can be heard all day. It is a place where you and your family can sit and enjoy the peaceful island breeze and the untainted views.

In the midst of this incredible yard you will also find a private outdoor shower with hot and cold water where you can peacefully bathe under the stars.

About Ann Croydon (owner)
We are a local family who would love to share our home in Hanalei with you. We live on island and we are available to assist you at any time but if you prefer to have your privacy, we will respect that as well.
Ann Croydon (owner) purchased this House in 1993
Why Ann Croydon (owner) chose Hanalei Palms
We bought this property shortly after Hurricane Iniki because we needed a home to live in when our home in Kapaa was destroyed by the hurricane. We looked at many places but the uniqueness of Hanalei and its quaint small town feel that seems timeless helped us to decide that Hanalei was the place. We now use it as a place for our family to gather and a place to make new friends through the many guests who come to stay there.
What makes this House unique
This house is uniquely situated. It is close to the beach but far from cars and foot traffic. It is so relaxing with its large private lanais, you'll never want to leave.

Wonderful home and experience in Kauai!
We had tons of rain but it was so beautiful and the house is just a short walk to the beach and town! The deck was perfect for our family to hang out and play games at night! Beds were comfortable and the kitchen is big and stocked for cooking in! Loved it!!
The place was fantastic. Everything you could need is at the place and a short walk to both the bay and to town. Ann was a pleasure to deal with and responded quickly to any questions we had. Looking forward to going back in the future.
Fun beach house
Perfect place for a group-private and so comfy!
We loved Ann's place. The other reviews are spot on and we agree with all. What especially distinguishes this place is the absolutely lovely lanai space which surrounds the house. There is an enormous space right off the kitchen, perfect for taking meals out there or just hanging for morning coffee. The furniture in this space is very comfy-cushioned chairs, sofa and love seat that are so suitable for relaxing in comfort-there is also a table and 4 chairs. Other than sleeping, we spent all our time out there. There are also other seating options outside on the lanai which totally surrounds the house so there is room for privacy is one wants that.
Another outstanding feature of this house is that despite being relatively close to other houses, you are totally surrounded by tropical foliage and can't even see the houses. It's like you are lounging in a tree house , hearing birds all around and the occasional keiki laughing at play.
The kitchen is huge and very well equipped, making it easy for a large group to help with meals without getting in each other's way. The cathedral ceilings make the kitchen, indoor dining and living room especially spacious- we liked that very much.
Proximity to beach and Hanalei is excellent.
Ann was very responsive to any question we had regarding the property.
This is a very special property and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended
Great place to spend Family Christmas!
Our family really enjoyed spending Christmas week+ at this Hanalei house. The location is perfect for walking to the food market/shops and only 1.5 blocks from the Pavilion Beach in Hanalei. Lots of beach gear for boogie boarding/snorkling. The large covered lanai with quality furniture enabled us to sit out during periodic rain. Good ceiling fans for added breeze. Large upstairs loft bedroom was perfect for kids to sleep/play. Master Bedroom had large bathroom and shower. Hot water was fine (just took a minute to get hot like my house at home). Other bedrooms very comfy. Frequently used the big gas grill for Kauai grass-fed beef steaks or local seafood. Loved the private feel of the yard and view of mountains. Very quiet with only occasional rooster greeting the day. Great place to unwind!
Very well appointed and clean home. The wrap around porch is wonderful and the location couldn't be better. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is due to an "iffy" oven and hot water that didn't come on in the second bathroom. Ann is wonderful to work with and a great host. I highly recommend this property.
