  • Great location

"This is a great condo for a couple visiting PR. It was our first time spending any amount of time in PR and we regret not vacationing here sooner. Condado is a fun area with plenty of good restaurants. The popular beach is a block away. The area is very safe and the condo building secure. The condo is comfortable and quiet. The check in and check out was easy and went smoothly. The caretaker was readily available if we needed her. I have nothing negative to say about the condo or the area and highly recommend it."

  • Bachelor Party Weekend

"We just spent a long weekend in San Juan at the 8 Atlantic Place (Ocean Park) property for a bachelor party. The location is wonderful and truly just steps away from the beach. There is a front gate, which locks as well as locks on the apartment doors. The added benefit of street clothes security outside on the street contributed further to our own sense of security. The property is about a 10-15 minute taxi from Old San Juan and the more tourist-geared parts of San Juan. Being one-step removed from that space let us relax and get away from the heavier foot traffic and bustle of tourism. Taxi rides should be on a per person system, and we rarely paid more than $3-4 per passenger. Be sure to specify “Ocean Park," as well. In terms of rooms, we slept 7 people very comfortably between the upstairs apartment and the Studio; in fact, 2-3 more people could have fit just as easily. Each bedroom comes with A/C, so nights sleeping are extremely comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and the ample dishes and cups made eating much easier. Beach and bath towels both provided. Booking and working with Adam was always professional, efficient, and clear. He was extremely friendly in person also, offering several suggestions of places to check out and making himself available via text should we have any questions. To check out, we simply followed the clearly spelled out procedure, hung our keys near the door and let him know. Very easy. Not only will I strongly recommend this property and it’s associated spaces to anyone (bachelor parties, family get away, etc.), but I will also be staying there on any future trips to San Juan—and after this first trip I’m sure that there will be several. Many thanks to Adam and all of the staff at Aqua4U for making this trip so memorable. Oh, and if you go, be sure to check out Kasalta Bakery just down the street. This little gem is not to be missed. How helpful was the AQUA4U call and on-line sales service? : Exceptional How was the AQUA4U apartment cleanliness? : Exceptional How was the overall comfort of your AQUA4U apartment? : Exceptional"

  • Fabulous!

"First of all the owners were very easy to contact which made the whole rental process a breeze. As soon as we booked we were sent maps and packets of all kinds of info about the Palmas community and the island. And their condo concierge Rosanna was so helpful the entire time we stayed. This was an absolutely beautiful, first-class condo. All amenities you could think of were included. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen had every appliance you would want on vacation to make you feel at home. The view over the ocean was breathtaking and we enjoyed coffee in the mornings watching the waves roll in. The resort itself was great. You wouldn't have to leave if you didn't want to. Groceries, restaurants, tennis, golf and other activities all within the Palmas community. The pools were great too. Very well maintained and clean and comfortable. A great and relaxing vacation! The only thing we were a little disappointed with was the fact that the beach right outside the condo was full of seaweed. Apparently it is a seasonal thing. We had to walk about five minutes to get to another beach which was great so it ended up not being all that big of a deal."

  • Relaxing Anniversary Getaway

"We just returned from our very relaxing stay. From first email contact, Liz was very easy to work with. She patiently answered all our questions and provided much information we didn't know we needed. Upon arrival, Aida and Gilbert were extremely helpful and kind. They made sure we were settled and that we knew where the closest grocery and drug store were. The trip went very smoothly, the condo was fantastic, the view is unbeatable. The pool is just steps away and beautiful. The Crash Boat beach is one of my favorite beaches in the world. We would recommend the place to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing place to stay in Aguadilla. I hope to get a chance to return!"

Puerto Rico Travel Tips

Visitors to Puerto Rico Vacation Rentals

Puerto Rico is a vibrant Caribbean island travel destination. It is a place where you can enjoy beautiful beaches, fine dining, a wide variety of water sports and a number of nature attractions. People who generally travel to Puerto Rico are attracted by the persistent sunshine and tropical island paradise. Depending on if you enjoy the vibrant resort-style vacation or something more remote and quiet, you can choose which part of the island you want to stay on. Relax on the beaches during the day and then hit the nightspots for some dancing in the evenings.

Best Time of Year to Visit Puerto Rico Villas

The most popular travel season to Puerto Rico is between December and April. During this time, visitors can expect hot sunny days with very little rainfall. In general, this is considered to be the dry season, although occasional rain showers do still occur. Another reason that this is a popular time of year to visit is that the humidity levels are lower. The warm weather also attracts many visitors from New York City, Boston and Chicago who want to escape the winter freeze. In general, there is little seasonal variation in the temperature in Puerto Rico. The seasons are more often defined by the humidity and rainfall. From May through October, the amount of rainfall increases, making the air muggy and sticky. This makes it feel as though it is much hotter. From July to October, tropical storms sometimes hit the islands, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds. This is typically the low tourist season in Puerto Rico.

Getting to Puerto Rico Resort Rentals

The main airport on Puerto Rico is located just nine miles from San Juan. The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport hosts frequent international flights from North America, Europe, South America and neighboring Caribbean destinations. As a U.S. foreign territory, flights from America are viewed as regional rather than international flights. San Juan is a major travel hub in the Caribbean for travelers from the United States. There are regular commercial flights from most major cities, including Miami, New York City, Atlanta and Houston. If you cannot find a direct flight connection from your hometown, you may consider finding flights that route via one of these main travel hubs. In total, there are 29 airports in Puerto Rico, most of them hosting regional and domestic flights. Getting around the island is fairly easy. There is a metro rail system that serves the greater San Juan Metropolitan area. It is also relatively easy to hire a car to explore the island. Be aware that traffic can get pretty congested in urban areas.

Caribbean Vacation Rentals in Puerto Rico

There are some definite advantages to renting a vacation home in Puerto Rico. If you have a large group of friends traveling together or are planning a wedding, you can secure a villa that is spacious enough to accommodate everyone. You can wake up each morning in the privacy of your own home and enjoy breakfast out on the deck. Many of the villas are fully serviced with housekeepers who can take care of all the household tasks including cleaning, shopping and preparing meals. Most of the vacation homes are beautifully furnished with stylish finishes and top-of-the-range appliances. Multiple bedrooms and bathrooms ensure that everyone in your travel party can enjoy a level of privacy.
