  • Such a Beautiful Island Getaway Home!

"3 couples--my husband and I, my brother and his wife, and my niece and her husband, enjoyed a week at Barefoot Palms Villa in Turks and Caicos. The house was beautiful, very well equipped, clean, and decorated beautifully! The pool was a favorite spot--swimming, the tiki bar, and the cute little swim-up table in the pool were thoroughly enjoyed by all. The Wi-Fi was great; the kitchen was very accommodating. We didn't mind the short (very short) walk to the beautiful turquoise water of the beach! We felt very safe at the villa. Ramona, the owner really answered alot of our questions before the trip and her staff were just a call away when we needed anything. Providenciales itself is a beautiful place..the water of the ocean is the prettiest...we did a boat ride and snorkeling excursion, which was a great way to see Sapodilla Bay. The restaurants we tried were very nice. And we loved the Fish Fry on Thursday Night! We definitely want to come back to Barefoot Palms and it was a great week there! Thank you Ramona for sharing your home for a great vacation experience!"

  • Great location, lots of amenities, beach a block away

"We had a lovely time at Villa Perroquet. It had practically everything we needed. The pool was especially lovely after a day of activities when we didn't hit the beach. If visiting the island again, we would definitely consider staying here, and will recommend happily to others. The kitchen was well-stocked. There were enough towels for everyone, and having a washer/dryer was ideal. Our only concerns: 1) No AC in main room (living/dining/kitchen), so it was very warm/humid (April visit). Even with windows open, it was stifling. Recommend adding a screen door to the French doors to aid in getting more air to main room. 2) Would like to have known that there was a limit on electricity used during stay. Not knowing and then worrying with 2 teenagers who live for AC made it a tad stressful. 3) Since so close to the beach, beach chairs would be nice. We rented chairs and umbrellas for the week which were ridiculously expensive. Would not recommend. 4) Satellite went out, a lot. Carol was a great owner, keeping us well-informed before we left the States. Very easy to communicate with, very reasonable. Their management company (Pam/Theresa) was very helpful as well. Villa local to many activities, but highly recommend renting a car. IGA Supermarket off Leeward Highway cheapest groceries."

  • Absolute Magic!

"Our first visit to the beautiful island of Turks and Caicos was incredible. As soon as we landed, our family was rendered speechless. 10 days of pure bliss awaited us! Michael and his lovely wife were so accommodating! Michael met us at the airport, and navigated us to the lovely private villa. It was clean, comfortable, and so quiet. Living in Dallas, Texas, quiet doesn't really exist in our world. Lounging in the hammock on the front porch of the villa, eating a quiet family meal on the screened in porch, or watching the sun rise on the back porch with a cup of coffee was nothing short of incredible. The beaches here are perfect. The water is crystal clear, snorkeling is a must, and the local restaurants are absolute perfection. Our family has been blessed to travel to many different places, but Turks and Caicos was by far our favorite place of all. Be sure to watch the sunsets on Leeward Beach. Only a 5 minute walk from the villa. Nearly every night we had the entire beach to ourselves. Parasailing was well worth it. Give it a go! You won't regret it. We also indulged in a snorkeling excursion. We met some wonderful people, ate fresh conch salad (to die for!), and visited Iguana Island, also known as 'Nowhere'. To visit 'Nowhere' was so incredible, calm, and peaceful. A must! The pool at the villa was a plus as well! Our three children (14 year old twins and an 11 year old) loved it. Don't forget to eat at Las Brisas on Chalk Sound. You CANNOT miss this! Taylor Bay is also a must. Clear, shallow water as far as the eye can see. Less crowded than some of the other beaches as well. Amazing. Kitchen is well stocked, bathrooms are good size, beds are comfortable. Yes, we'll be back!"

  • Great spot. Agree with all the positive reviews here

"-First time visitors to TCI from Canada. 6 adults (31 to 65) 3 kids (15mo to 5yo) visiting Feb 2015 -Home suited us very well. Lots of space, very comfortable and very clean as mentioned. -great pool, very lush landscaping contributing to a private feel, nice outdoor seating/ dining table -4 bikes (3 adult) , beach chairs, toys for kids....such a nice touch. -kitchen was very nice, very well equipped as advertised and they even have a good selection of spices too. -BBQ is there too which we used twice for family meals at the house. -beach was awesome. probably a 5-10 minute walk to the closest point. you could walk either direction. we were very surprised that the beaches were NOT busy, but then again you're not in a resort area until you start walking a ways west down the beach! -for making your OWN food you can go to the Marina (<10 min bicycle) which is a small high-end grocer (limited proteins). It's expensive. Bring a backpack (the bicycles have baskets too). Alternatively you can bike to Graceway gourmet (about 30-45 mins each way on bicycle). Or drive to graceway gourmet (10 mins by car) or to the less expensive IGA on the highway (15+ mins by car.). Snacks are expensive so consider bringing your own (eg granola bars) -Tonnes of good restaurants on the island.... they will provide you with dining guides and maps to help you find your way! Even the closest restaurants are a decently far walk, FYI but we walked as far as Hemingways (1 hour walk each way) -agree to strongly recommend bringing bug spray. lots of little "no-see-em" bugs which bite some people more than others. they're everywhere on the island so you just gotta be prepared to deal with them! -we loved walking (or cycling) into the grace bay commercial area but if you're not keen on exercise you would need a rental. -we rented a scooter for one day (just my wife and I) from paradise scooters to explore the island and we also rented a 10 person van (grace bay rentals) to explore the island with the entire family. No problems with any rentals. Scooter rental employee picked you up and brought you to the rental location (and returned you). The van rental company offered complimentary drop off at the house and pickup at the house (very handy). Scooter rental was $75USD for a day, van was $190USD. Driving on the opposite side was NOT challenging. People drive relatively slow compared to what we're used to. -we would all HIGHLY recommend Villa Tropica @ 25 Sandpiper. :)"
