14 years of spending winters on the Pacific coast of Mexico.
"My wife and I spent two months here in 2015. The Casa is very comfortable and feels very secure. Locals are friendly and helpful and the town has about all one can ask for if you want a quiet relaxing time. Beach is great and is not crowded even on weekends. Caretakers are great and the owners are quick to make sure all is well. We liked it so much we are returning for another winter!"

"My new husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and it truly was magical. The house was beautiful and spacious, right on the beach. Every night we were lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves. We had a blast exploring little Lo De Marcos, chatting with the locals, and snacking at one of the few delicious restaurants in town. We also were able to take a horseback ride along the deserted beach into the jungle, which was super fun. Check in and check out were a breeze and Dave had some fantastic recommendations on what to do and see in the area. Clarita's restaurant was a fab breakfast spot, then we walked next door and bought fresh vegetables and beautifully hand-painted dishes at the farmer's market in town. I think our favorite part was while relaxing on the beach, we found an older gentleman selling delicious homemade orange and banana bread for only a few pesos. This is the type of place you read about in books. If you want to get away from everything, this is the place to stay. With a taxi stand in town, we got around no problem without a rental car. Highly recommend Casa Lo De Marcos!"

"I just returned to the US from my fourth visit to Casa Pelicanos. It has become a tradition to visit this wonderful spot at least once a year and is definitely a highlight of my travel activity. The house is impeccably furnished with a local feel and all the amenities one would need are there. A couple of friends and I stayed upstairs and the individual rooms are spacious, charming, and comfortable, and each with its own bath. The living room, dining area, and kitchen all face toward the ocean and there are panoramic views of the ocean below and the surrounding hills and mountains. Lo de Marcos is a quiet and charming town with all the restaurants and stores you need. It far exceeds busier towns to the south for quaintness and lack of congestion. We had the beach to ourselves for most of the time we were there. We will continue to keep this tradition each year."

Everything we hoped for and more at Casa de Suenos!
"We arrived late but Lourdes was gracious and showed us around. We went to the La Penita market Thurs. morning, then came home hot and tired and jumped in the pool! The pool and patio and yard alone is worth the price of our stay-but everything else was wonderful and not exaggerated in any way. My only hesitation in giving an honest glowing account is that it will fill up even faster and be harder to book our return week. Thank you Kathleen and Lourdes for the beautiful house and grounds furnished with everything we could want. Diane and Jerry Shriner, CDA Idaho"
