"What a great stay. I was in town for Ironman Lake Tahoe, and this was charming chalet was a fantastic choice. It's ~3/4 of a mile walk from Kings Beach (although it's all downhill on the way there, so you have a bit of uphill on the way back!), so it was very convenient for race morning. Overall it was very quiet, although there are some dogs around that seemed to be out most of the night barking! Nothing that earplugs couldn't fix though.
The kitchen was fully stocked, so we could do as much cooking as we wanted, and there's a Safeway down the street to stock up on essentials. A great stay!"

"Overall, this house is adorable and cosy. A nice big flat screen tv with apple tv is a nice touch for the evenings, after you've spent all day at the beach or hiking. Board games and books are available, too. Part of the kitchen has been remodeled, and there's a newer washer and dryer. Very nice.
The third bedroom definitely needs new mattresses. Even my young kids complained it felt like they were sleeping on wood. And both showers need new fixtures. One of them is broken, and the other one shoots out water so hard, you feel like it might blast your skin off."

"We had a super time in Tahoe, and this house was the perfect base. We like Tahoe City/Kings Beach better than South Tahoe. It seems quieter, yet still has a big Safeway and lots of restaurants. Kings Beach is easily close to all the north ski areas, and even Heavenly.
The house is cozily warm with a nice fireplace. But is not at all "cozy" in the sense of small. We were two couples, and we used only a fraction of the space in the house. We pretty much stayed in the upstairs front room with the fireplace, view, and TV.
The road is well below the house, and the traffic went away between 9:00pm and 8:00 am on the Monday and Tuesday nights we were there, so that was not an issue.
The furnishings and appliances are newish and comfortable. We cooked both dinners and both breakfasts there.
We recommend it and would go back next time we're n Tahoe."

"The owners communication was top notch! The condo was exactly as described and shown in the photos - actually bigger than we thought. You will find a well equipped kitchen, plenty of blankets, towels, and a variety of games! Great location minutes away from everything! The complex is quiet, clean and family friendly!"
