  • Awesome location

"We stayed at this property with our two boys and their friends. It was a perfect location for our ski trip. We skied at Loveland and stayed in Golden. It was about 25 degrees warmer in Golden so it was great to come back to warmer weather and put on shorts and t-shirts. The location of the house was great as it was right near the creek and about 2 blocks from the downtown area. The boys could walk around town and not get lost. Also, we were right near the base of Castle Rock so the boys could hike there by themselves and also near Lookouts Mountain which is a neat place to visit."

  • Home away from home!

"Everything about our stay in this spectacular log home was fantastic. There are so many "extras" that you rarely find in a vacation rental. We had our family Christmas there, and could not have been more pleased. Plenty of room, even the one day we were snowed in; comfortable bedrooms and a great kitchen equipped with everything a cook could possibly need. We honestly didn't want to leave. The property is in easy proximity to skiing, downtown Denver, and Blackhawk/Central City, but most of us preferred to sit by the fire and just relax! Some hardy souls took out the sleds and discs and whizzed down to the barn, where the alpacas looked on intently. It was one of the best family gatherings we've ever had, and we would absolutely recommend this property to others. Jeri was the perfect host!"

  • An Enjoyable, Walk-able Visit

"Six of our immediate family stayed for six days to attend a family wedding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and with some planning, found the one bath to not be a problem. We walked to local, independent coffee shops (Windy Saddle & Higher Grounds),to dinner each night and to the Coors tour. Most of our party climbed to the top of Table Mountain behind the house. The house owner was very easy to work with - good communication."

  • Great stay

"Everything about the place was great. Kim was very welcoming on arrival and gave a really detailed walk through of the property. Everything about the place came as advertised. I had some reservations about the hot tub and pool table ,having been burned in the past with dirty or unusable amenities that were described, but they were everything I could have asked for. On the morning of check in the mountain got dumped with 2 feet of snow. Kim got their drive plowed quickly and cleanly, and kept me posted to their progress the whole time. I really appreciated this as it allowed me to take care of a few things before I drove out there. The house comes stocked with many little things I always forget to pick up when I travel. And the scenery is stunning. The only negative is there was a bit of a drive to many of our planned activities in Denver. However the drive in the mountains is easy, enjoyable, and I would even say fun. I would definitely stay here again."
