  • Great Home, Great Location

"My family spent a week at the house. It was wonderful. The neighborhood is quiet and well tended. We cooked every night and the kitchen had everything we needed. The house was very clean and had very comfortable furnishings. My daughters liked hanging out in the basement. You can't beat this location for easy access to the Beaver Meadow Entrance - no driving through town to get to it. We hiked almost every morning and then my daughters (ages 10 and 11) would head off to the YMCA for crafts, horseback riding (one day) and swimming. The YMCA is only a mile up the road and is a great for the kids. We visit RMNP every year and, truly, this house is my favorite. Comfy, conveniently located, and quiet. The owners are very responsive as well."

  • Incredible Place to Stay!!

"In a nutshell: Beautiful, right on the river, comfy, has everything you need. One of the best you will find in Estes Park. Details: We have stayed in many different places in Estes Park over the years, and this is definitely one of, if not the, favorite. The house is actually a duplex, but you would never know it since there is no issue with noise. The side you rent comes complete with a one car garage, a deck with comfy chairs (covered), bar table and chairs, and grill. There is also a double adirondack chair overlooking the river. The river itself is about 10 steps from the covered deck. One small negative is that Highway 66 is across the river, but the trees have grown up and provide a barrier. You do hear some road noise, but the sound of the river does a lot to overcome it. One of the great things about the unit is that it is on the end of the street, which means it is more secluded. There are three bedrooms and three baths upstairs. Two of the baths have showers only and are connected to the bedroom. The third has a tub and is accessed from the hall. All the bedrooms have their own TV, and the master bathroom has a TV as well. The downstairs is roomy with plenty of seating in the living and dining rooms. The TV boasts a powerful speaker system if you know how to use it. One of the biggest things I loved about this place, is they provide so many of the things you need - not just the basics: laundry detergent, bounce sheets, blow dryer, flat iron, coffee, sugar and artificial sweeteners, flour, brown sugar, spices galore, oil (olive and corn), syrup, heavy duty foil, Saran Wrap, small resealable sandwich bags, and so much more. There is bird seed in the laundry closet and a recipe for hummingbird food (ingredients provided). The kitchen is very generously stocked with pots, pans, etc. - you will find almost everything you could possibly need. The house is beautiful inside, there is plenty of extra bedding, and lots of room for everyone. The managers, Lloyd and Donna, are so nice, easy to work with, and quick to meet any needs you may have. I just can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. You will love it!"

  • Serene, Beautiful and Owners that are great to work with

"Beautiful home, amazing surroundings and a no hassle approach from the owners who helped with silly stuff like making sure we had the right directions, checking to see if we needed anything and giving us shopping advice for food and sundries. I dont write many reviews but I recommend this rental if you are going to this amazing part of the country"

  • Perfect for us!

"We use VRBO for our travels whenever possible. Owners and homes vary across the board. We've never had a bad experience. This home in Boulder turned out to be perfect for our needs of the week. Like a couple of others whose reviews are listed, we needed a "grand central" spot during our daughter's wedding week--a place where friends and relatives could drop in for coffee or a glass of wine. The first thing we heard from every visitor was: "Wow!" The home is beautifully built, very well appointed, and first class. The entry is awesome. An uncle from Boston suggested we all buy it to have a place to stay in Boulder. The seating and beds throughout worked perfectly for our handful of nightly guests and for those who visited. There's ample--more than ample room, closets, bathrooms, storage, you name it. Plenty of towels, but plan a trip to replenish paper supplies, etc. The kitchen was perfect as a common gathering place, as was the outdoor deck, the front room, and everywhere else. My husband cooked for the rehearsal dinner, and had plenty of space, platters, and great appliances. The nice part was all of the nooks in which people could sit and visit, take a nap, or read a book. And when we closed the door to the master, we enjoyed a quiet, private oasis. We tend to be very picky. In a home where no one is currently living, like many VRBO homes we use, sometimes the little things need attention. The owner was very responsive to our questions about the house during the week, and during our rental conversations in advance. Even the contractors remodeling two houses next door were quiet, respectful, and kept their "noise" to few daytime hours. We weren't disturbed at all. I highly recommend this home if you need a central, large location in Boulder. This home is worth the money, worked well, and we were very happy with our choice."
