"Great location, lots of space and an excellent patio - this place felt like home away from home. Good access to the river and a nearby hiking trail, not to far from town, with a wide variety of wildlife all around - hummingbirds, deer, geese, and even turkeys (8 sitting on the fence outside our bedroom one morning). We loved the Durango area with hiking, biking and fishing - all very reasonably close. We'll return again to Durango and this home."

"The house was beautiful and the owner was extremely gracious and courteous! The views are gorgeous and the house was very comfortable and well-stocked. We had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great vacation!"

"Place is great. True ski-in, ski-out. Next door to Christie sports, or 200 yard walk down slope side to main lift office/ski rental/ski school check-in. Park skis, walk 20 yards down to condo door. Sleeping perfect for family of six. Owner Neil was responsive and helpful. Has washer/dryer, coffee maker, blender, all the pots, pans, plates, measuring, utensils, etc. needed. Also, all the linens, towels needed. Will have on list for next travel."

"I hate to write this review because that will mean more compitition to renting this wonderful GEM! The house was fantastic, everything we needed. It was great to come back after a long, wet ( and I mean wet) hike to a hot shower and cozy house. Washing machine came in handy with our wet dirty hiking clothes. Bud, our cat, first long stay loved exploring house and yard. He may visit again if we bring his toys.
Entertainment in the town and house was great for those rainy no hiking days. See you in September, Lee."
