  • Great neighborhood, lovely apartment

"My sister and I loved coming home to our bustling neighborhood from the convenient U Street Metro each day after a busy day of exploring the sites. Trader Joe's half a block away was always a good option for quick food when we weren't up to going out to eat. When we were there were many choices of really good restaurants to choose from. The apartment is well equipped and we appreciated the basic supplies that were provided: soap, toilet paper, dish washing soap,etc.. We enjoyed the ambience and tasteful art that fills the walls. The bathroom is beautifully tiled and it has a great shower. The only inconvenience for us was the tight quarters around the large bed in the bedroom. We highly recommend the apartment and the neighborhood."

  • Excellent Location for DC Conventions

"This property was more than we expected. Only two blocks from the convention center and more than enough room for lodging. Enjoyed are three night stay and had all the comforts of home. Very close also to both food and entertainment. Will stay here again if available for sure!"

  • DC Wedding Trip

"Myself, my husband, and our 13 month old daughter stayed in Eva's VRBO for 5 days. Being west coasters it felt pretty small, but it worked. Eva was kind enough to provide a pack n' play for our daughter to sleep in. She also let us borrow her parking pass until she could get one from the police station for us. If you rent a car like we did please make sure you are VERY clear on the street parking limitations. We got two tickets (in the same day). One was for street cleaning and the other was because we had unknowingly parked in the restaurant vs residential spaces. We took the bus to and from National Mall every day because there is a stop right around the corner (Bus 52). Having Trader Joes also right around the corner was SO convenient - especially with our little one needing various things. The neighborhood is very young and lively, there is a lovely little Bakehouse/coffee a couple doors down that I frequented. Overall, it worked well for us. If you can avoid renting a car I would highly recommend it. The only reason we did was because we have to drive from BWI to the rental and then out to a rehearsal and wedding venue that was sort of far and we wanted our daughter in a car seat."
