Great Rental for Us
"This was a great rental for us. We were traveling with our new college grad and two dogs and there was enough space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked and the gas grill was available for cooking. We ate most meals in, because my husband loves cooking fresh fish. The patio and dock were perfect, the beds, comfortable. No complaints, only compliments. Key Colony is a great location with easy access to beaches and state parks. We did take advantage of an afternoon on Inch Beach - but were so busy, we never got back. This was a fun and easy place to rent."

"Stay here! The City of Key Colony Beach is the perfect location in the middle of the keys. Away from the crazy of Key Largo and Islamadora. We flew into Fort Lauderdale, rented a car and drove down, making stops at National Parks along the way. We stocked up on groceries for the week at Walmart in Florida City, but replenished our fresh fruits and veggies locally at the Winn Dixie. In a pinch we even found the closest Walgreens also had exactly what we needed. We were able to take easy morning trips either north or south and then enjoy Inch Beach all afternoon. We loved using Inch Beach because it was clean, quiet, and we brought our own cooler of snacks and beverages. While we could've walked the short distance to Inch Beach we found easier to drive with the cooler, beach toys, and teen in tow. NBB is exactly as pictured. Cute, clean, and smells inviting (I know, sounds strange but good smell is important). We found absolutely everything we needed including kabob skewers! Neighborhood is safe and neighbors are very nice. We enjoyed coffee each morning on the patio overlooking the canal. Saw a manatee - so cool! Went for a walk, easily accessible to everything. We were able to make a day trip to the Dry Tortugas, morning trips to: Key West, Bahia Honda State Park, Sombrero Beach, John Pennekamp State Park, and Theater of the Seas. We would stay here again!"

"My husband and I rented Rob & Peggy's beautiful home for the month of May to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Rob & Peggy were very responsive to our questions prior to our arrival and during our stay. Their home suited our needs perfectly and is very well appointed for anyone who stays there. We really appreciated being able to use the boat lift so we didn't have to worry about growth on the hull during our stay. We frequented the Key Colony Inn for dinner and had a great lunch at Sparky's Landing. The pizza at Tarpon Creek Bar & Grill was very good and we had an ice cream craving one night so hopped over to Leigh Ann's coffee house and enjoyed some fabulous ice cream! We didn't use the pool or go to inch beach because we were too busy playing on our boat or sightseeing in the islands. If you've read any of Tim Dorsey's books the No Name Pub on Big Pine Key has a very colorful history and is a great place for lunch--you will have a very good chance of seeing a Key Deer up close and personal as they are frequent visitors for the cold water provided for their comfort. We ordered pizza and wings and they were excellent --here's the link to their website in case you want to check it out: http://www.nonamepub.com/
The bait freezer came in very handy for chum and the ballyhoo we caught & rigged for mahi-mahi fishing. Thanks to Rob & Peggy we have fabulous memories of our 25th wedding anniversary. I hope we will be able to stay in the Keys again and if we do, we will definitely rent this home again!"

"This home was perfect for our family. It was beautifully and comfortably decorated, with a large great room where we all could sit together to watch the big screen TV. The home was clean and spacious, with a well tended pool and landscaping leading to a wide deep water canal with quick, easy access to both the Atlantic and Gulf. We brought our boat and had no problem launching at a nearby ramp or docking it at the house. We were permitted to bring our two small (5 & 7 pound) dogs who had a blast there! (Thank you for tile floors!). I highly recommend this lovely home in Key Colony Beach. It is perfect!"
