  • Terrific time in Marathon Key

"Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 236 Bonefish is centrally located in beautiful Marathon Key (middle FL keys). The home was wonderful; very clean, airy and spacious. The home easily accommodated our party of 9 (4 adults and 5 kids). The kitchen was well equipped, so meal preparation was handled with ease. Compliments to the idea of a separate ice machine; much needed and used often! The home was tastefully decorated and well appointed. The pool was the perfect size and the dock was perfect for boating, kayaking or just watching marine and wild life (our boys saw dolphins during one of the evenings). The home is close to several restaurants and grocery stores and is just a short drive from the turtle hospital and dolphin encounter. Recommendations: Maintain beach/pool toys at the home on a permanent basis. Consider purchasing a kayak or two for guests to use while visiting."

  • Fantastic stay in Marathon

"Beautiful condo, very big (my son couldn't believe he had a king size bed AND a bathroom to himself as we used the en-suite :) very well equipped - there is a laundry room downstairs for washing clothes if you're staying for a while. Ideally located in the mid-Keys and in a really beautiful and quiet area of Marathon. I got up to watch the sunrise every morning from the beach and we watched most sunsets from the 5mn walk away Sunset Park and met with the same people every night (seems to be the thing to do at sunset time!) for a magical display of colours in the sky. Plenty of wild life around with iguanas on the beach too - quite funny creatures to watch... The pool is really big and was not busy at all when we were there - 5 people at the most at one time... Supermarkets are about a 10mn drive but there is a gas station nearby if you've run out of essentials. There is a breakfast/lunch coffee house nearby (Leigh Ann Coffee House - highly recommended, very nice) and a restaurant (Sparky's Landing) which offers decent meals. All in all, a great stay - lots to do in Marathon without driving too long: we swam with dolphins at the DRC, went to the Turtles Hospital, snorkelled on boat tours and drove to Key West for an afternoon (about 1hr drive). We even rented a boat in Key Largo (about 1hr as well) with some local friends to try and fish lobsters. Patti was very nice on first contact and then a property management took over, very professional and helpful when we arrived early and could check-in early. Would go back any time!"

  • What a great place!

"The condo was great! Everything we needed, a very nice pool, beach , 2 grills, we have stayed at the area hotels that cost a lot more for one week and all we got was a bedroom and bathroom. This will definetly be a yearly thing for us. Well done!"
