  • Margo's Place

"When we arrived, we found that the air conditioning was broken and it was 93 degrees in the home. We called the unit contact and it was fixed within an hour. The unit itself is lovely but the linens smell like mildew no matter what we put on them to dispel the odor. We had a very relaxing time and would probably rent from them again. A suggestion would be to install lighting down on the dock for night fishing. The one small light that is down there is totally insufficient to be able to see anything."

  • Tranquility at it's best!

"The pictures do not do this tropical therapy justice! The home was fully stock with everything a family of 5 could need. It was clean, quiet, and just the "Key Therapy" we greatly needed. Although we didn't catch much from the canal (just a couple of mangrove snappers, which we released), it was fun to kick back after a full day of snorkeling, cookout and cast a line. We did see a variation of stingrays, barracudas, and a small bull shark! We spent a day just enjoying KBC and all it had to offer. A must place to eat is at Sparky's! Pet friendly, great food, excellent prices and wonderful atmosphere. The Cabana Beach Club has much to offer for adults & children too. We also found that Bahia Honda State Park was great for snorkeling for beginners (our children never snorkeled before this trip). The water was clear on both sides (Atlantic and Gulf). It wasn't unbearably crowded and the beaches were clean and beautiful! Don't forget to check out Bahia Honda Rail Bridge originally built by Henry Flagler. Bahia Honda is definitely one of our favorite places to go. We found this home to be perfectly central to everything as well. Travel an hour and head South to spend the day in Key West, or head North to tour the upper Keys! I cannot say it enough, but this home is ideal in every way! We are truly happy with staying at the Tropical Therapy and plan on returning in the near future! Thank you from all of us :)"

  • BEST VACATION, EVER!

"What a fabulous vacation! The house was great, could walk to the pool which is steps from the ocean, eat right there at the restaurant, or poolside! We swam with dolphins which was only 15 min away, will absolutely do that again! The house was spotless, very comfortable, had everything we needed. Plenty of room and loved sitting on the porch just letting the warm breezes relax me. If you felt you must leave the beach/pool, there are so many things to do and see, you can't do them all. I don't see how anyone could possibly be bored! Will I go back? Absolutely!! I didn't want to leave!!!"

  • Wonderful vacation home!

"Right from the start, the owners were very helpful and easy to work with. They answered all our questions and were very pleasant. The home is just lovely, located right on the canal. The pictures are spot on and the location is great. We rented a boat and highly recommend that for others. We did our own snorkeling and had a blast (sombrero reef, coffins patch, looe key). The waters are so clear! It was great to have access to Inch beach (small but pretty deserted) as well as the Cabana pool and beach club (small and crowded). Beaches and pool access are hard to come by on Key Colony so those amenities were great extras to have. The home is very spacious and well-decorated. The kitchen was well-stocked and the owners even had soap, laundry detergents, dishwashing liquid, etc. - all the amenities you don't expect to find in a home rental but are pleasantly surprised to have! This was our first trip to the Keys and we will definitely return. We would absolutely stay at this place again and would highly recommend this rental to anyone! Our best meal was at Barracuda's grill - awesome food!"
