"We rented this cabin for family to attend daughters graduation. It was perfect for our large family. Close to water yet not so close that you don't have a yard. Kitchen is spacious and well lit, rooms great size and comfy. Even though the neighbors are close by there is still the sense of privacy. We will definitely rent this cabin again and highly recommend it to friends and family (after we re done with it of course :)"

"My wife and I spent 5 nights at the Log Home and enjoyed every minute of it. The seclusion was just the thing we needed as we celebrated our 10th anniversary. The deck was a perfect place to sip our coffee and read a book. Although we would have been content just staying at the cabin the entire time, the trail and lake was a great way to spend some time outdoors. We were able to borrow a canoe from a neighbor down the road and get thoroughly immersed in the natural beauty in which we found ourselves. When we ventured away from the woods, we were met with many great people as we went through the list of suggested places to visit left by Kathie. The notes that were left were so detailed and extremely helpful, and when we had questions, Kathie was only a text away. It is obvious she loves this region and wants to share this love with all. There are so many little villages nearby that provide a variety of experiences that are sure to cater to anyone's interests. We really enjoyed going out for breakfast at a nearby cafe called the Olde Post Office Cafe and hitting up a pub called the Liberal Cup. We even had our first full lobster dinner at the Lighthouse Wine and Seafood Market. I would definitely come back and would recommend this to anyone and everyone!"

"Staying at this house was an incredible experience. The lake was pristine, the decor delightful, the hot tub amazing, and the surroundings were awe striking and begging to be explored. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking to get a way for a long weekend, while experiencing nature in an entirely new and inspiring way. I can't imagine having booked a house better than this one"

From age 2 to 78, all loved our family vacation week.
"This remote place was perfect for our extended family of 24, 11 of them children under 7. No neighbors were close by to be disturbed by the 6 two-three year olds that took turns with crying. The playground swings and merry-go-round were used daily. We enjoyed practically everything:canoes, kayaks, water slide, pontoon boat, game room tennis court, basketball court, volleyball, and the campfire area for S'mores. The lake was comfortable for swimming(not too warm or cold in mid-August) and the islands fun to explore. I loved the loons, easily seen and heard. The kitchen was convenient with plenty of dishes to feed the gang. The chalet was clean with comfortable furniture and plenty of room to spread out or be together. Lee Howard, owner, was easily reached during the week, and eager to make sure we all had a good time. We would definitely return."
