  • Stress free vacation!!!

"The owners have thought of everything to make staying at Seagulls Nest easy as can be. The house was very clean and well cared for. It's on a quiet street just minutes away from beaches, shops and the zoo by foot and tons of places to visit are just a short drive in the car. Our group of 7 ranged between the ages of 8 and 66. There was plenty of room inside and outside for everyone to comfortably spread out. The local Hannafords grocery store is 15 minutes away and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies. We prepared most meals at the house - much better and less expensive than eating every meal out. It was a perfect spot to vacation!!!"

  • Amazing!

"Outstanding experience in the terrific home. Great (much needed) updates since our last stay. Would highly suggest that all bedrooms (except downstairs) be outfitted with King size beds or at minimum 2 twin beds that can be place together. Owner is highly responsive. Have already booked another stay! Highly recommend!!"

  • Better than Great!!

"July 21, 2014 Sharon, It was BETTER than GREAT!! Thank you so much for letting my family from Oklahoma stay at the cottage this last week! We could not have asked for a better time with my daughter, her husband, and the two young boys. The cottage was almost equal distance from both sets of in laws which made it very easy to see them and leave them during the day. We went whale watching, went to Palace Play Land, and into Portland a could of times but most of the time we spent playing on the beach... something very different than the flatlands of OK. The cottage was much more than described and included everything that was needed. The washer and dryer was very much appreciated as the kids could keep their clothes clean after playing in the sand or getting their ice cream from the general store each day before breakfast. I hope that your housekeeper reported we left the cottage as we found it. We tried very hard to treat everything as if it was our own with the hopes that the next family renting it would also appreciate their stay. Hope that rest of the summer stays sunny and warm for you and your renters just like the days we experienced. Randy M"

"Have been vacationing in Maine for 40+years. This with out a doubt ranks up there on our all time favorites list. The condo is fully equipped, clean and comfortable. The views both day and night are spectacular. So much to do in the area even late or off season. The owner's personal suggestions of nearby restaurants and activities was much appreciated. We hope to return again next year"

Saco Travel Tips

Saco Vacation Rentals are a Charming Getaway

The city of Saco, in York County Maine, is blessed with miles of white sandy beach and spectacular views of Saco Bay, including numerous sailboats and charming lighthouses. The beach is relatively uncrowded all season and is unspoiled by high rises. There is plenty of room for relaxing and, once in a while, a harbor seal may appear. You can take a walk along the seven miles of sandy beach, from Camp Ellis to Old Orchard Beach and ending at Pine Point in Scarborough. You can collect seashells, or even try your hand at building a sandcastle or two. Saco is a quaint vacation spot filled with friendly people. And because there are ample Saco vacation rentals, it is a perfect place to spend a holiday.

Saco Has Plenty of Attractions to Keep You Entertained

Your Saco lodging is just minutes away from local fishing docks, Saco River fishing, canoeing, and three great golf courses. You are also close to amenities such as Ferry Beach State Park and the Funtown Splashtown USA amusement park. If you are interested in some major shopping, then the Maine Mall is also only a few miles away, plus there is the new 16-screen cinema in Portland's acclaimed "Old Port area," which also includes many fine restaurants, shops, and some great weather.

Saco is a Wonderful Family-Oriented Vacation Destination

Because of Saco's friendliness and beauty, many families return year after year for vacations and have for generations. You can start this tradition with your family as many have done in the past. Look into Saco vacation rentals or even find a few Maine Southern Coast cottages to fulfill your ideal vacation plans. Spend time with your family in a quiet and rewarding vacation experience, surrounded by the natural beauty of the sand dunes, white beaches, and charm of Saco Bay.
