  • Historic Charmer

"My family and I rented this house to see my nephew's play USNA baseball for a long weekend. The pictures don't do it justice! On the outside it's a quaint historic home right in the heart of Downtown Annapolis (and 1/2 mile stroll to the baseball field!) with driveway parking for 2 SUVs (a huge bonus on a busy weekend). On the inside, it's completely renovated with a big gourmet kitchen downstairs and a double-sized master suite on the 2nd floor. The master bed and bath were nicer than a hotel! The other two bedrooms were perfect for the kids (our sons, ages 8 and 5 loved the bunk beds and our 13 year old daughter was in heaven in the "Hawaiian" themed room). The 2nd bathroom upstairs was small, but the kids didn't mind. Actually, they ended up in the hot-tub-sized bubble tub in our bathroom every night anyway! The backyard was a nice surprise, too. Comfortable furniture, nice grill, tastefully trimmed... It proved to be our favorite spot each night to grill dinner and enjoy a glass of wine while the kids wrestled in the grass and we caught up with old friends. We loved our weekend in Annapolis and this house was a great "home base!" Once we parked the cars we only used them once to go to the grocery store (literally a mile away) and from then on, walked wherever we wanted to go. We'll definitely be back!"

  • A perfect stay!

"We spent 3 nights for a girls getaway at this excellent property. Could not have a better location just blocks from the shops and historic sites. Less than a mile to the Naval Academy. We walked everywhere. The carriage house is connected to a gorgeous historic home with a yard that ends at the water. So lovely. The unit is quiet, large and well-appointed. Full kitchen, dining room, living room that looks out onto the yard and dock. Spacious bedroom. Steep flight of steps to get to the unit, so be aware if mobility is an issue. The owners were helpful and gracious, keeping their distance while being available for anything we needed. They recommended a restaurant, Level, a few blocks away. It was tasty! We may have to make our Annapolis weekend an annual event."

  • Wonderful House!

"I just returned from a ladies get-away at this fantastic house. There were 5 of us, and we all decided before we even left, that we want to go back for another stay. We spent most of our time outside on either the deck, covered porch, pool area, or lovely front porch - so many choices! She has an adorable, very sweet cat, that often joined us on the deck. The kitchen is large, beautiful, and had everything we needed. There are 2 tables for dining (although we ate every meal on the covered porch)! There are 2 rooms with couches, chairs, and big screen TV's, if you wanted to spread out. The master bedroom and bath are gorgeous. The entire house was so comfortable, we felt right at home. All wonderful!"
