"I had searched and searched for a hotel or B&B close to the water. There were many selections, but rates always seemed to jump to double for the weekend. This is a common practice during the Summer, but I just didn't want to spend that much. Searching through this website I came across this title..."Waterfront Accommodations - ON THE WATER! Got my attention so I read further. Do not pass this up! The staff is amazing and the accommodations were just what they advertised - ON THE WATER! I was at the end of the dock where I photographed Osprey, ducks, sailboats, people, incredible sunsets and had 2 decks to choose from where I enjoyed a glass of wine every evening. I was 5 blocks from The Chart House, where I had dinner and picked up the local water taxi that whisked me away across the Bay to Annapolis! Can't get much better than that!"

"We came for a long weekend. We are three high school friends 65+ who meet several times a year at different places. The place was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. We walked to the water taxi - about 5 blocks - very easy and a nice walk. There were only 2 chairs on the top deck so we didn't go up there. Not a good view of the harbor, only a lot of roof tops. The only drawback is the parking. We were lucky and found a great spot, but it was the Pirate Festival weekend and we were afraid we would never find a near parking spot if we left the one we had. Walked around the corner to a great local restaurant called Cockeys. The house is not recommended for anyone with disabilities since the stairs are rather steep. There are some repairs to be made. The tub faucet in the bathroom was coming off the wall and the bedroom closet door would not stay on its track. The towel ring came out of the wall and we put it back up. All in all though it was a great rental and we had a fantastic time."

"Royal Folly" helps make family and USNA 50th reunion huge success
"The house, itself, is a beautifully restored historic gem, situated right across from St. John's College and within walking distance of the Naval Academy and downtown Annapolis. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The beds were comfortable, the amenities excellent. I brought the whole family--kids and grandkids--for my very special reunion, and there wasn't a moment of disappointment for the entire weekend. I recommend highly."
