"This was the first time in many years we had to rent a house in Edgartown and were pleasantly surprised. The house provided modern amenities, and since it has 2 separate living areas, the young adults had their own space! The wrap around porch and expansive backyard provided the perfect place to relax and play lawn games. We LOVED being able to walk to Morning Glory..nothing beats their zucchini bread! Donna was responsive, very easy to work with and concerned about making sure her tenants are happy...more landlords should follow her example!"

"We had a wonderful stay! It seemed FAR on the first day, since we decided to walk with our luggage. But after that, we were able to walk back and forth to the center of town (Circuit Ave shops) in about 15 - 20 minutes. It is definitely a mile, but a straight shot. Cabs were a different price every time we took one, from only $7 for one person from the ferry, to $21 for five of us to Nancy's. Tip - we found a convenience store that was closer to the house that saved us from having to go into town more. It is called Tony's and it also has better hours, a deli and wine/beer!
The hammock out back was one of my favorite spots. It is definitely a nice location - the last house on a dirt road, so no traffic or worries about cars once there. Our only concern was walking the dirt path at night, so we made sure to be inside or cab it after dark.
The only drawbacks are 1) the extremely narrow spiral staircase to the lower level (heavy-set people probably cannot use it, nor can you take your luggage down it) and 2) the second bedroom downstairs is in between the first bedroom and the bathroom, so keep in mind that you will have to pass through that person's bedroom to use it. Works fine if it is a kid, not an adult who needs privacy. There is also a water heater inside the bathroom.
Other than that, it was perfect for our girls' getaway! The owner and his property managers were very responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay there again."

"The photos you see of this place, do not give it justice. I planned a women's getaway weekend and this lucky, hidden gem truly amazed my group. From the fully equipped kitchen to the spacious bathrooms (and yes the master bathroom with the deep Jacuzzi tub) were fantastic. There was so much room to move around. We had plenty of extra towels, linens, sheets and pillow cases to go around. The location of this summer home is remote, but when the sun peers through your window in the morning, you will truly appreciate the smaller things in life.
David, thank you for a remarkable stay and we look forward to seeing you next year.

Charming Modern Cottage in VH Perfect for 2 couples or a Family of 4.
"We are delighted that this cottage is so charming and its a surprise because the outside looks like an ordinary rectangle of a house but when you enter the house you are totally surprised by the interesting design. It is beautifully decorated and is so well equipped. It offers real comfort for 4-5 people who are looking for a wonderful relatively inexpensive vacation on Martha's Vineyard. Located on a cute street off Franklin Street in Vineyard Haven it is walk or bike to town, the library, shops, restaurants, Owen Park Beach. The house itself is wonderful offering a very efficient kitchen with a breakfast bar and lovely bath, the new carpeting in the bedrooms was comfy on the feet."
