  • Home away from home...

"Location! Location! Location! This condo is amazing! Can't beat being right next to the lake in a gated community and only a couple of minutes away from the casinos! On top of the great location, this condo felt like home! Had everything I needed from washer and dryer downstairs, to the BBQ on the balcony! I wouldn't mind calling this my second home if I could. Definitely would recommend this condo for any trip to Tahoe, winter or summer."

  • LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN

"I have been there about 4 times in the winter and I find the complex relating and close to the slops. The suites are comfortable newly renovated and convenient to town and other ski areas. The ridge is a ski in and out next to the Stage Coach Lift. A good place for beginners to advanced skiers."

  • Wonderful home away from home!

"We had a fabulous stay at the condo! The home was warm and welcoming, with everything we needed to make our stay wonderful (also worth mentioning it was very clean and well organized). The location is perfect for enjoying the area. I recommend a trip to Hidden Beach or a hike at Skunk Harbor if you bring your dogs along. We loved having access to the Incline Private Beaches and nearby Sand Harbor as well. Our hosts were communicative and friendly in all our interactions. It was a truly great experience and we were already talking about when we would come up for another stay as we packed our bags to head home. Thank you so much to the Bird Family for our wonderful stay!"

  • Presidents week end

"This property is simply amazing with lots of room for a large group spend some quality time and hang out. The property managers have been very responsive at answering all my questions and concerns -- and I had lots of them! The rental process was very smooth and easy. Even with our large group, we never ran out of hot water, which is very impressive. The kitchen is fully equipped and is a pleasure to cook in -- they even have a rice cooker!!! It is located only a few miles from Diamond Peak resort, which made it very convenient for us to go back and forth. There is also a grocery store nearby, so again, very convenient. I would definitely go back!!!"

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
