  • Home away from home... very comfortable and clean!

"I rented a car and found that the location of the house was easy to find and close to everything. Parking is free on the strip, the grocery store is easy to get to, and you can quickly get out to Red Rock Canyon from this location if you want to get away from it all.... I recommend Jack's house for any group wanting to stay together in one place to save money on accommodations, meals and hanging out in a well-equipped clean home. One of the highlights for me was watching movies from the hot tub! Jack is willing to provide you with anything you need to make your stay comfortable. I truly felt like I was at my family's home."

  • Black Bear Run

"6 of us stayed for 4 nights. The house is beautiful. However the trip was marred by the lack of snow this year. We all agreed if there was regular snowfall this would have been a near ultimate experience. Public transportation was very good. used it most of the time and sometimes used a cab. 50/50 whether renting a car is worth it. We would definitely rent this place again."

  • Awesome MLK weekend get away!

"As a previous family mentioned, the pictures do not do this home justice as the grand archway, beautiful decor, and layout cannot be understood until you are there in person. This house hosted 8 adults and 10 kids ranging from 1 to 7 yrs. The layout allows for multiple activities to be going on and not feel crowded at all. Great kitchen layout and gas grill outside. The kids loved the secret play room that you access from one of the room closets. Plenty of activities to enjoy the house with board games, cards/chips, and an awesome foosball table which hosted many rounds of play. The house is 10mins away from Diamond Peak which made for easy drop offs for ski school. It's also very close to the Meadows snow play area off 431 Mt Rose Hwy. Back yard is open and has lots of area to explore. Enjoying the house more than made up for the lack of snow this past weekend. Easy booking and very responsive owners who care about their home and guests. Cannot wait to visit again!"

  • 5 Star Vacation Home!!!

"This spacious well kept summer/winter vacation home is a great rental for your next family vacation, girls weekend,or boys weekend. The house is very spacious with a great floor plan. The kitchen opens up into a great room. Makes for nice dinners and hanging out in front of the cozy fire. The kitchen has great built in griddle for fun breakfast foods. Love the upstairs hang out area. Great for kids to watch movies, play games, or just chill, while parents enjoy themselves down stairs. The two master suites are nicely separated for families to have their space. The backyard is huge and fenced in. Most Tahoe homes are not fenced in. Here the kids play outside, while the parents can relax knowing they can not go far. Also comes with a cozy hotub. Not far from this house is the family friendly Diamond Peak Ski Resort for winter fun and in the summer Incline Beach. For adult fun, the Hyatt is in walking distance with fun casino and dining. This home is truly a home away from home, but with more perks. Very clean as well…nice laundry room. 5 STAR all the way."

Nevada Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Nevada Luxury Home Rentals

If it's the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip that attract you to Nevada, you won't be disappointed. The many hotels, entertainment centers and casinos have a reputation for fun and excitement. Try your luck at the table or slot machines. You can also take in a show or see a live performance of your favorite artist. From Las Vegas vacation rentals, a great day excursion is to drive to the Hoover Dam. This impressive structure is one of the highest dam walls ever built. The hydro-electric system at the dam provides electricity to more than 20 million people in Las Vegas and Southern California. Other interesting sites nearby are Red Rock Canyon which has great rock climbing routes.

If you are visiting during the winter months, you may be surprised to know that there is a ski resort within an hour's drive of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston has some excellent downhill ski runs and snowboarding trails. Perhaps the better known region for skiing is the far northwest in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe. There are several top ski resorts that together have miles of cross country and downhill skiing trails. In the summertime, outdoor adventurers can explore the many hiking trails in the region. On the southern lakeshore, there are several casinos and resorts where you can try your luck. In the more rural parts of Nevada, there are miles of back roads exploring interesting landscapes. There are also numerous areas with biking and hiking trails to explore.

Best Time of Year to Visit Nevada Lodging

Even though Nevada has four distinct seasons, it is a year-round vacation destination. The summer months are hot and great for water sports and sightseeing. Outdoor activities can also be enjoyed as long as you are cautious of the midday heat. In the spring and autumn seasons, the temperatures are a little milder without being too cold. This is actually the ideal time of year to hit the trails. In the winter months, you can head to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe or Mount Charleston. Naturally, in the casino cities of Reno and Nevada, there are no off seasons. Entertainment and fun happens all year.

Fun for Everyone in Nevada

Nevada is a state that has something for everyone. City slickers can enjoy the bright lights and casinos in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe. Nature lovers can enjoy exploring the many nature trails and back roads. In the winter months, many skiing enthusiasts come to Nevada to enjoy the world-class skiing offered at the various resorts.
