"There is a load of great outdoor stuff to do around Willsboro Bay. We hiked Rattlesnake, rode bikes to ferries and VT, sailed to secluded beaches and waterfalls. The cottage is open, airy, and comfortable for 2 couples, or family with young kids."

"Our family with 2 elementary age children and our in-laws stayed for a week in July. The lake was great and the kids had a ball every day playing with the pebbles and splashing around. We cooked and ate outside most days. The rooms were very clean and my in-laws appreciated the 1st floor bedroom with AC as they have trouble with stairs. All supplies were available and in ready quantities. We were expecting only a few kitchen implements, but there were plenty of gadgets, utensils, and different size pots to use.
After a wicked thunderstorm, the power and internet was knocked out. The owners were very responsive and reported the outage and we got back online. I am glad they listened to our concerns and were proactive.
The cottage is a short drive from many tourist attractions so we took day trips to the North Pole, Vermont, and Ft. Ticonderoga.
I highly recommend Jack's Rock and would stay here again in the future."

"This was the perfect place to relax! We had so much fun playing in the lake, which was warm enough for my 2 year old, who gets cold easily, to enjoy. The sandy beach really helped her as it made it much easier for her to play in the water...the dog had a blast too! The cottage itself was better than expected. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quite spacious. All of our questions were addressed right away. The toys, paddle boat, and canoe were great to have. There was a row boat too though we didn't have a chance to take it out...next time.;o)"

"We had a wonderful time staying in this house for a week. We were there with the two of us, our three sons age 18-21 and our 87 year old aunt (who uses a walker). The house is beautiful, with views of the lake throughout most of the house, including the screened in porch and the master bedroom. There is also a nice beach and dock, with kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. The boys were happy that there was Wi-Fi, and our aunt was happy that she could sit on the porch and drink coffee and read.
In addition to just hanging out and relaxing, we used the house as a jumping off point to visit Burlington, VT one day (and Ben & Jerry's) and Montreal another day. Each was about 1-1.5 hours away, so easy to get to. We also did two days of hiking in the Adirondacks, one about 45 minutes away in the High Peaks region and the other about 30 minutes away.
Hosts Tom and Sarah were great - very responsive to any questions we had. We highly recommend this house."
