  • Perfect home away from home

"We've had an annual reunion at Pond Bliss for the last five years. This is a wonderful home - very private, but only about 10 minutes away from shopping. The owner is extremely nice and accommodating. This has all the amenities you would want, including a beautiful pond."

  • Family Reunion - Countless Memories

"Celebrated my mother's 70th this summer by serving up three generations in one house for one week. There was something for everyone - actually, we did not even get to all the stuff we wanted to do. The house was immediately comfortable, while having all the amenities necessary to have a great vacation. The kayaks were used multiple times a day, as was the hot tub. The lakefront offered us endless hours of fishing. My 8-year old caught her first fish (and then some 10 more!) over the course of our week's stay. My husband & I ran each day along the lake and the sights of deer, beaver, bunnies and more were so fun. We went cherry picking at a nearby farm. We ventured off to the Catamount Adventure Park - a zip-line galaxy of fun. We climbed Bash Bish Falls - yes, even our matriarch made the excursion! And the very best was the view each and every day - rain or shine - of the lake itself. Each of us stole quiet moments in the early morning to watch the sunrise and later that day would return for a festive gathering around the campfire. The rainbow that decorated the skies on our final night completed the entire experience. We would love to make the Copake Lake House an annual trek...fingers crossed we will be able to!"

  • Perfect!

"First of all, my thanks to the owners of this wonderful property for allowing our family, a group of nine adults to stay in their house! The house met our expectations that was based on previous reviews and direct communication with the owners! Everything turned out as advertised and everyone in our group enjoyed our short three-night stay - we traveled to High Falls to attend our oldest son wedding where the wedding venue was just a few miles down the road from the house. My only suggestion to future travelers is to arrive during daylight as the house is located in a wooded area and it could be a challenge to find the unimproved road path leading to the house -- thank God for GPS technology as these navigation devices will take you with precision to the path leading to the house! Again, many thanks to the owners and we hope to travel again to the High Falls area to enjoy some of the many outdoors activities in the area! P.S. The travel guide that the owner put together is outstanding!!!!"

  • FABULOUS!!

"This house has it all!!! Immaculate design (this house is newly renovated-- with reclaimed materials--which to me is the ideal). It has top of the line fixtures and amenities. This house is the absolute perfect combination of rustic, chic, utility & comfort. We are a group of 8 friends (a combination of some couples and some singles) who escaped NYC for Mem Day Wknd. The kitchen is fantastic for a group of our size. We cooked every meal and aside from a few of the guys playing golf one morning, we never left the house! The outdoor patio area is so relaxing and fun to hang out in. Some of us would play bocce, others would be grilling, while some meandered over to the Icelandic ponies across the dirt road. There are multiple places to curl up and read a book for those looking for quiet downtime. In the evenings, we hung out in the basement area which has a sweet set up including a pool table, bar stools, surround sound, huge flat screen tv, and comfortable seating for playing games. Set on 400 acres, you could explore outside every day for hours. Things like two dishwashers and a separate wet bar with ice machine were major bonuses. The folks managing the property are also very attentive and hospitable! We will absolutely be back. Can't wait to rent again."
