  • Beautiful Home in a Fantastic Location~~!!

"My husband and I stayed here over the Christmas Holiday. The home is exactly as depicted in the pictures. Lovely bedroom suites (2) with views of the ocean....VERY comfortable beds....and (when we were there) extremely well-stocked amenities (soaps, shampoos, lotions, etc.). The kitchen is a good size with lots of pots/pans/dishes.....everything you would need for preparing nice meals...which we did several times. The house is within walking distance to a great little restaurant "The Side Door" as well as a very short drive up to Salishan Lodge for something a little more "fancy". There a nice deck chairs and chair pads for lounging out on the deck. Fireplace is wood-burning (you can buy wood nearby at grocery or bring with you). Pantry was also well-stocked...almost like someone was living there.....plenty of staples, spices, etc. We have used VRBO all around the world....Prague, Argentina, Italy, London, San Francisico, New York, Paris, and more....and this property rates up there with some of our very best experiences. Highly Recommended!!"

  • Georgous view, easy beach access, whales, seals, aggates, waves and fun!

"We stayed for a week and had the best time. The house was amazing, private, comfy, cozy and flat out as gorgeous as the photos. Lots of great views, cute little neighborhood, close drive to anything you'd need, quick beach access and lots of wildlife! Everything we were hoping for and more for our getaway! Our friends were impressed too. Thank you so much!"

  • The Wallace House in Gleneden Beach

"My family of 4 found this little gem online when searching for a "beach base camp" this summer. The owners are so thoughtful - they even have toys for kids and dogs. The house is definitely small and quaint but perfect for what we needed. The fenced in backyard with BBQ was a big hit as we had visitors and this gave us room to spread out. I would definitely recommend this place for families with small children and/or pets. Loved the location between Newport and Lincoln City too - we could enjoy the bustle of the bigger cities and then come home to relax in the quiet town of Gleneden Beach. Anyone who has not done the hike down into Boiler Bay for tide-pooling is in for a treat as it is less than five minutes down the road. Well worth the trip."

  • Another amazing weekend at our favorite spot on the Oregon coast.

"Ever since we stayed at the Beach Ball last year, we couldn't wait to go back! The house was just as we remembered it: very comfortable! Our group ranged in age from 7 to 67, and everyone enjoyed their own favorite things! Running in the waves on the beach was a highlight for the grandkids, long walks, the golf at Salashan, a trip to the aquarium in Newport, an amazing birthday dinner at The Bay House, and just relaxing in general, made this the perfect getaway for all of us! And just like last year, as soon as we left, we were thinking about going back! I guess that says it all!"
