Location...walk, ride bikes skate...almost anywhere you want to go..Lots of attractions nearby. Cosy and warm in the winter. Cool and airy in the summer.
We enjoyed our stay at the perfect little cottage, its name sake stating it all! Everything is provided, with thought given to detail when stocking home! Cottage was clean and homey, I especially enjoyed the landscaping and views of water. AC worked great, nice hot water, good water pressure, beds were comfortable. The fireworks were an added bonus our family enjoyed from the living room! This cottage is located within 15 min of about any shopping that can be imagined ( make sure to check out the farmers market and down town shopping...one of a kind) The cottage is also ideally located for outdoor activities...beaches, nature preserves and bike/walking paths are all close and easily accessible. We highly recommend this cottage!
This cottage fulfilled all our expectations! Everything we needed was supplied. All was clean and in great condition. The location was right where we needed to be to access Holland State Park and vicinity but also kept us in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect for vacation and we would definitely stay again!
We came to Holland to visit relatives and to explore the area. We wanted to find somewhere we could stay near my cousins and this property was ideal. This is a nice cottage in a quiet area and offered at a reasonable price. There is a partial view of lake Macatawa through the houses opposite and there are trees to the side and rear. The property has a lovely front and side patio complete with chairs and gas BBQ. We often saw Squirrels, Rabbits and wild birds on the lawn and patio. The property has a private drive way that is easy to get into and our of and the road outside is very quite. There are a few small stores nearby for urgent needs and a good grocery store about 4 miles away. State park is very close and Mt Pisgah is only a few minutes drive. There are bikes for all ages and an attachment for towing very young children in the shed. The property is well equiped although we were disappointed to discover that it only has no bath, only a shower. The neighbors are very friendly and helpful. There are also a good selection of tourist information leaflets available in the property and a decent wifi internet connection to get all the latest information. We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Holland.
This little cottage is so quaint. It's perfect for a couple or a family. Located close to the lake or the state park. Centrally located to Holland downtown area. I love this place and would stay here again.
A great place, very clean and bright, spacious and welcoming. So nice to have a water view from inside and out. For me, the unexpected bonus was the wonderful old trees and wooded area at the side of the house, along with the landscaping around to the back. So peaceful there. State park just a short drive away.
