Enchanted Treehouse On Lake Michigan - Perto de Grand Haven e Holanda

The Enchanted Treehouse is perched on a sand dune overlooking Lake Michigan with 100' of private lakefront. Enjoy the magnificent lake views from every room or the deck with table, chairs and BBQ.

Enjoy sightseeing and dining in Grand Haven 9 miles (15 minutes) to the north or Holland 12 miles (20 minutes) to the south. Take the 145 steps to the beach and park your blankets or chairs on your own private beach. There are no rocks and the sugar-fine sand slopes gently into the crystal clear water.

Avoid the crowds and enjoy the peace and tranquility that this property has to offer. This unique modern rustic, post and beam style cottage was designed by award winning architect Chuck Posthumus to maximize lake views while minimizing environmental impact on the critical dune.

Sorry, not suitable for weddings or other events. Parking is limited. The unique features of this house that provide the spectacular treetop views, also make the home more physically demanding and unsuitable for people who have physical or ambulatory limitations and it is not handicapped accessible.

Rates are based on 2 guests; add $10.00 per night, per additional guest. 1 - 2 dogs allowed with owner's permission and additional pet fee. Must request at time of booking and provide breed, size and age.

There are outdoor security cameras onsite. One faces the driveway, two faces the two entry doors, and one faces the steps to the beach.

Beautiful spot, weather was fabulous, so outside most of the time on the deck, great view, and quiet. Beach was great walking, and fun to swim in Lk MI this late in the season.

Very great experience with family staying at the Treehouse. Please not that the steps up to the house and down to the beach are nothing to ignore, you'll get a workout. Also, the private drive to get to this house is single file (no turnaround or passing) and has many tight corners with a cliff dropoff. I wouldn't want to drive down that with any kind of snow or ice.

The house was very cool and unique. Truly perfect beach, and amazing sunsets from the deck. The views from the house and rooms were amazing too.There are a lot of stairs to the beach, but it's really worth the work.The hosts really thought of everything in the house, with everything provided, well labeled and thought out.We will definitely try to visit again in the future!

The Treehouse is our favorite annual trip! Randy has such a unique property that provides privacy like no other spot we have ever enjoyed. The house is well appointed with everything you’ll ever need for a weekend or week away. We love that our dog Walter can join too. The sunsets from the deck are unmatched. We try to stay at least once every year, if not twice.

The house is great! The owner Randy let us check in early, with very little notice from us. He responds really fast!! The view is constantly beautiful, the beach is stunning. We absolutely loved it! Has everything you could possible need for a great stay!

Amazing view and vibe

This place has a fantastic view and private access to the lakefront, which our group took full advantage of. It was clean and had all the amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms, which we needed to cook and be comfortable staying for several days.

The time spent there with my sisters was "magical", made even more magical by the crazy winds and rain the kept us hibernating inside with the fireplace and being rocked to sleep by the train motion of the house with the high winds. Despite the inclement weather, we did get dressed just long enough to venture outside each day for a walk on the beach. The saves and white caps were magnificent. The atmosphere of the tree house was very "hygge" and was just what the three of us needed as we reflected on the circle of life and read the box of 70 year old love letters that our parents wrote to each other. It was a magical 3 days that we will cherish forever. Just what we needed. On a practical level, this house is very well stocked with supplies, kitchen supplies, games, movies, etc. We didn't leave the house for anything except beach walks so i have no recommendations for sights or restaurants. The house may be a little hard to navigate with younger children with the stairs up to the house and down to the beach. 30 steps up and 161 down...I think. Very good exercise. Thank you for sharing your Enchanted Treehouse. We will be back.

Amazing Stay!

The treehouse is hands down the best VRBO I've ever stayed in. The view and location are breathtaking and the treehouse is beautiful and unique. Randy was fantastic to work with and very warm and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend staying here.

Amazing Stay

Love the house and beach. Kids did not mind the stairs to the beach and adults did limited up and down trips - good cardio. But the view and property are worth it!

We searched up and down the shores of Lake Michigan from South Haven to Muskegon and think we found the perfect beach and ideal location between the lovely towns of Grand Haven and Holland. We first saw this property for sale at Thanksgiving time 2016, fell in love and named it the Enchanted Treehouse.

The treehouse, mounted on sturdy poles, has a commanding view of the lake which will get better as I gradually trim down some of the tree cover.
