The comfortable house contains five bedrooms and three baths, offering ample space for up to 12 guests. This pet-friendly house is fully furnished with premium furniture, modern appliances, and comfortable beds. It has two large living areas where you can hang out with your group while watching a favorite movie on the flat-screen television.

When you go to the second level, you can find another spacious living area and a renovated fully equipped kitchen. A vacation is a perfect opportunity to relish some gourmet home-cooked meals with your group. This is easily possible in the kitchen that has everything from cookware to utensils, appliances, and countertops. After cooking an elaborate feast, you can serve it in the spacious dining area with a large table for up to eight guests. Enjoy the free flow of conversation, food, drinks, and laughter while vacationing at one of the most amazing beach destinations in the country.

Besides the indoor common areas, you can take the party outside and enjoy features like a private swimming pool and gas grill on the upper deck. Get ready for fun BBQ parties as you can forget about your daily life and unwind for much-deserved relaxation. If you would like to take the entertainment to your private bedroom, you can watch your favorite show on your own personal TV. We also offer amenities like internet access, central air-conditioning, free parking, and central heating so you will not miss anything from back home. Do not pack a heavy load of clothes, as we offer an in-unit washer and dryer and an iron for your laundry requirements.

Each of the bedrooms is fully furnished and welcomes you for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Grab a good night's sleep to escape to a peaceful world when you enjoy the comfy bedding, plush mattress, and cozy blankets. There are different styles of bedrooms to accommodate all your guests. The master bedroom has a large king bed, TV, and a full bath. Find conveniences like personal care products and fresh towels for the ultimate luxury. A few of the bedrooms have a queen bed and half bath. We can offer bed linens, kitchen, and bath towels, and a starter set filled with essential toiletries.

A few important notes to be aware: NO HOUSE PARTIES. NO SMOKING. No exceptions! There is a very strict noise ordinance policy on the island that goes into effect at 10pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekend nights. The 5 car limit is also strictly enforced. This house is a family rental and is located near year-round residents. This is not a rental home for bachelor/bachelorette events, wedding groups, youth groups, fraternities/sororities, receptions, or any other types of larger gatherings. We do NOT rent to students or anyone under the age of 25 - no exceptions - even if a parent or legally responsible adult makes the reservation. If such a group occupies or attempts to occupy the property, they will be required to immediately vacate and there will be NO refunds given.

This home is pet friendly. Dogs are considered with a $300 pet fee (per pet), applicable pet policy signed, and flea proof records received prior to arrival. Dog must be approved by Carroll Realty. Absolutely no cats or other animals are allowed. Any damages caused by the pet will be charged to the pet owner and not paid by the pet fee. Please note - pets are not allowed in the pool. If pool cleaning service determines pets have been swimming in the pool during your stay, you will be charged a $250 pet fine.

*Please note: Fireplace is not a "working" fireplace. The flue is closed, please do not use.
Please also note that the pool does not have a heater.

Bed Layout is as follows....On the main floor there are two bedrooms and two baths. Master Bedroom has a King bed, TV, and Private Bath. Bedroom #2 has a Queen Bed & a Single Bed and has a full hall bath. Downstairs there are 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. Bedroom #3 has King bed with TV, Bedroom #4 has Queen bed and TV, and Bedroom #5 has two Double beds and TV. There is also 1 Queen Sofabed in the living area.

This property also includes a $250 credit to order beach gear when you book a stay between 3 and 14 nights!! There are many options to choose from including bicycles, beach chairs, beach carts/wagons, coolers, umbrellas, kayaks, paddleboards, etc.! Our partnered company, VayK Gear, will contact you 45 days prior to your arrival so you can place your order and they will deliver all equipment to your rental property. ALL BED LINENS, KITCHEN TOWEL (1), BATH TOWEL SETS, & BEACH/POOL TOWELS (12) ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!! You will only need to bring or plan to rent beach chairs, bikes, umbrellas, etc. Also included is a "starter set" of toiletries such as toilet paper, bath & dish soaps, paper towels, etc. but please do keep in mind you will most likely need to purchase these items after your initial arrival.

One of the stairs going to the downstairs is broken and is a slip hazard when going down. The stairs outside do not have any lighting. There was no coffee and no cooking oil of any kind which I usually expect in rental

The House was a lot older then seen on pictures. Had a bad smell. Floor down Stairs have ALOT of water damage. Had duck tape on the floors. Loved the location. Pool Was nice.

SC Wedding Weekend

We rented the home for a wedding in SC. The home was perfect for us. Communication with the agency was excellent! Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. We are planning on returning to the area dues the summer. If it’s available, we will definitely be back.

The home was clean and in a good location. We read some of the former reviews that mentioned issues. It do not appear that much had changed. The kitchen was the only area that was updated since the build in 1974. I would say the home just looks tired. With that said it did not cause any issues to ruin our stay. I would also say it has one of the best appointed kitchens in any rental we have used. There was also a very nice sitting area for dinning. We were in the area for a college graduation and the home allowed us to invite our granddaughters friends for a celebration dinner.

We attended a wedding on Isle of Palms and this house was one of the few houses with 5 bdrms left, so we took it. Beautiful home, needs some serious deep cleaning, new furniture on main level, bathrooms and kitchen very dated. It’s very close to the Wild Dunes resort, and the beach is steps away, which are pretty much the only pluses. More upgrades would make this home a lot better.

Other than the kitchen the relay of the house is well worn.

Other than the kitchen which was recently remodeled, the house is really worn. The downstairs flooring was duct taped down in several places and curled up and brittle in others. Bathroom was not clean. Black stuff on walls. I could go on. Wouldn’t go back.

Family vacation

6 adults and 5 children stayed in this beach house for vacation this year. The kitchen had everything needed to fix meals and the eating area was big enough for all of us to eat together. The walk to the beach was VERY easy! We were disappointed in the pool area. The pool and yard looked a little neglected. The floor downstairs was falling apart and was even taped in some places. The entire house was not as clean as I expected especially all of the floors both upstairs and downstairs.

Great place!

Overall was a wonderful place! Ample table seating which was wonderful for group dinners and game night. Outside area was open and welcoming! My note to future guests: I wish I understood the bathroom layouts a little better before booking. We had a 12 person group. There were 2 bedrooms (so 4 guests) upstairs with two bathrooms. All 8 other guests had to primarily share the one downstairs bathroom. We made it work, but it is definitely something to consider if I stay here again.

great location - home is outdated

When looking for a house for Labor Day weekend we looked for 1: proximity to beach. 2: pool. 3: number of bedrooms. So this house met our expectations for our priorities. However- the house is dated and needs some work. Bathrooms especially. but for average price it is probably accurate. It is easy to get to beach and company is easy to communicate with. The kitchen is updated which is nice. A few things to update: The first bedroom light and fan makes a ticking noise and doesn’t have a light fixture, just bulbs. The wall socket was coming out. And pillows are very thin. The bathroom hardware (shower faucets especially) need to be replaced. Overall I think the house is ready for some updates.

Lovely location

We were a group of 9 adults all over 40. Read the listing carefully. It describes the layout. The location was 4 houses from the beach access. 2 streets over, there is a harder walkway for access. The pool is just right 4 steps down then 3.5 ft - 5 ft depth. The yard lanscaping needs attention though. (This was discussed with the agency). There were things that made me waver between 4 and 5 stars overall. Our stay was lovely and worth it. There are maybe another round of updates (floors mostly) to get a solid 5. The updated kitchen was lovely. The dishes and silverware, the appliances.... it made life easy. The 2 large tables made dinners and game nights so fun and easy. Starter sets mean 1-2 nights of stuff. For us staying 9 nights, it was good we brought stuff (handwash, toilet tissue, papertowel, dish soap, detergent for washing machine and dishwasher)... The vayK rentals were sooo easy and convenient. It stays there for your entire stay. Overall, this was our 1st time on IOP and this vacation rental was a good experience. Carroll realty as the property managers were very easy to reach and were responsive.

stress of this house ruined our vacation

First off, the property managers tried really hard to make things better, but what looks like the owner’s years of neglect can’t be fixed in a week. Read the past reviews to see what you’re getting. We were hopeful that they had been remedied, but they had not. There are numerous problems that go way beyond the property being “dated”. (Dishwasher bottom rack has no rollers and the arm is so bent that it doesn’t spin, only three stove burners work, the pullout sofa mattress was disgusting, one door is “floored” shut, the downstairs refrigerator is rusty and dirty, the stove vents to the cupboard above it, etc) We understood that going in, that it wasn’t updated and fancy, especially because we had stayed there six years prior. However, the same problems prevailed, and were added to. On day one, there was no cable or internet. The manager explained to us how to fix it. On day two, the upstairs A/C went out and it was 85 inside. They repaired it the next day. Also, on day two of our stay, the downstairs bathroom wouldn’t flush and overflowed, so they came to clear it. Day three, when someone showered, water spurted out of the toilet. So we stopped using it and had to request more towels because of the mess. Then it started happening upstairs and we then only had one working toilet, but couldn’t shower, do dishes, laundry to wash the soiled towels because they explained that the septic tank needed drained. They came the next day and the workman explained that due to lack of maintenance (not the storm, or a fluke) that it couldn’t all be pumped out. The house smelled like sewerage. And, we just held our breath the rest of the trip hoping that all the bathrooms would work. The property managers did respond in a timely manner and also brought us new pots and pans, knives, and utensils as the ones there were badly abused and bent. They really tried, but for money, we expected a lot more upkeep, especially for items that do not cost very much. And, a vacation is supposed to help you remove daily stressors of life, not add to them. On a positive note, the pool and outdoor shower were very refreshing and provided a nice getaway from the house itself when it was hot, smelly, and we couldn’t shower inside. Again, the property managers tried really hard, so maybe look for another house that they represent until this owner fixes these ongoing problems.

Overall, a good place, great location. Owners really should make some upgrades. Read these same things in reviews from 2 years ago, and was hoping there had been some improvements. Dishwasher is falling apart, microwave is a million years old; whole kitchen is dated. Probably why there are no pictures of the kitchen. Not sure the sheets in the master were changed; they were very loose and wrinkled like they hadn’t been washed. Also, pool was dirty when we got there and was green by the end of the week. Overall though, a good house, great location. Just expect very dated and upgrades needed.

Disappointed in the house and the service

The kitchen was very dated. Dishwasher racks were broken. When we arrived on Saturday, the pool did not appear to have been vacuumed. There was an exposed electrical outlet and there was a makeshift door covering a closet. We had trouble with a toilet, reported it that morning and never heard back from the rental agency or saw a plumber. We asked about having the pool cleaned after several days of storms and we’re told that the pool man had come the day before. Certainly didn’t look like anyone had been there in our opinion. There was an outdoor shower located next to the pool pump without any barrier. Can’t believe that would pass local codes. Will not rent this house or use the agency again.

This house is perfectly located just a few steps from the beach and having a private pool on the property is great for small children.
