Overview

About the property

4 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, Sleeps 11

Fun is practically guaranteed when you stay at Mountain Flower. The 4-bedroom log home offers plenty in the way of entertainment, including a game room and an outdoor hot tub. What’s more, it’s located in the Alpine Mountain Village resort, which includes a seasonal swimming pool among its amenities. And perhaps best of all, it’s just a few miles from Dollywood, the Titanic Museum, dinner theaters, shops, and more.

Mountain Flower’s game room will no doubt be the most popular gathering spot in the home, especially with the kids. Located downstairs, it includes a pool table, foosball, table tennis, a flat-screen TV, and a game system. Whichever game you play, afterward you can celebrate your win (or console yourself for your loss) by heading out to the lower deck and luxuriating in the hot tub. For a truly magical experience, soak among the steamy bubbles in the evening as owls hoot and whip-poor-wills trill beneath a canopy of stars—sheer bliss!

The main floor is home to the great room, another fabulous space for hanging out with the gang. The large armchairs and sumptuous leather couches are so comfortable! In winter the stone-surround gas fireplace will add to the welcoming vibe; in summer the breeze of the ceiling fans will complement (if not replace) the air-conditioning. The large smart TV can accommodate your Netflix and Hulu accounts, so you don’t have to worry about missing your favorite shows.

The great room also encompasses the dining area. In addition to a roomy table that seats 6, there’s a breakfast bar with room for 3 more. If you’d prefer to dine alfresco, head to the dining tables on the decks—the lower deck and the main deck each have one. You can cook outdoors too, on the gas grill. Though once you see how beautifully equipped the gleaming kitchen is, you might want to get cooking indoors!

In addition to the great room, the main floor houses the master suite. While all 4 bedrooms ensure a peaceful night’s sleep, with handsome furnishings, a TV, and ample storage, the master bedroom includes a king-size bed, a private bathroom, and a jetted tub. After a day of hiking, biking, or shopping, we’ll know where to find you: soothing your tired muscles with a restorative soak!

A second en-suite bedroom, this one with a queen-size bed, is in the loft. Also in the loft is a charming sitting room, perfect for playing chess, watching TV, surfing the web via the free WiFi, or enjoying quiet one-on-one conversations. Its futon opens into a bed, so that the room can serve as an additional bedroom.

The remaining 2 “official” bedrooms are downstairs on the lower level. Each has a queen-size bed, and they share the 3rd bathroom. If you have additional guests, Mountain Flower also has a sofa that converts to a queen-size bed, so that the lodge can sleep 11 people in all.

Other amenities include a washer and dryer, cable channels, a large paved driveway, and of course, glorious views of the surrounding woodlands. Then there are the amenities of the Alpine Mountain Village resort: an outdoor swimming pool open throughout the summer, a play area for little ones, lovely walking trails, and a covered picnic pavilion.

What’s more, Mountain Flower is close to just about everything there is to see and do in Pigeon Forge. The parkway that is the town’s main thoroughfare is less than a mile away (though given how peaceful the cabin’s setting is, you’d never know it). In less than 15 minutes you can drive to Dollywood, Parrot Mountain and Gardens, Gatlinburg Golf Course, the Titanic Museum, the Tanger outlet mall, dinner theaters, arcades, go karting, and more.

When you stay at Mountain Flower, you just might enjoy your best vacation yet. So make your reservation today… before someone else beats you to it!

House filthy, multiple issues

  • 1 of 5

The home was filthy when we got there, spiderwebs everywhere, no countertops wiped down. Management company offered to send cleaners back the next day but we had to unpack and didn’t feel comfortable with cleaners in the house while we were there. We spent about 2 hours cleaning, had to have a vacuum delivered, which took 2 days. There was visible debris on the carpet and hardwood floors, definitely were not cleaned before we came. Found 3 large, live cockroaches during or short 5 night stay. Railing board was loose with nails sticking out on the deck, dangerous for kids. Grill was missing a couple of flame diverted below the grates, couldn’t control the heat so was unable to cook on it. One of the bathroom showers never had hot water. Management company did respond to most complaints but having to make multiple calls, send emails, listen to voicemails, and send pictures on vs action was annoying to say the least. I have stayed in many VRBO properties and have never had an experience like this. The property owner or management company owes us financial restitution for our hardships. Would never stay in this place again and will definetely be writing multiple negative reviews with supporting pictures in the next week. Beyond disappointed,

A fun cabin with lots of room to accomodate our large family!!

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was ideal. The kids loved the video game and pool table. The only issue we had was the hot tub wouldnt get warm enough to get in. But after a phone call & an email they came out to fix it & we were able to get in on our last night. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Mixed; good location poor quality

  • 3 of 5

Location is great. It is in the heart of Pigeon Forge atteactions but quiet. It is very close to the community pool (walkable). Hot tub and game room were great. The cabin is not well cared for or maintained. Freezer did not work well and ice cream melted in it. Some beds had dusty linens on them. HDMI cable for games was broken. There were cobwebs on many light fixtures and windows. Porch had decayed and broken floor boards. They supplied the cheapest toilet paper I have ever seen (lower than dollar store quality). The property managers are terrible. We reported the broken cable day 1 and they promised to replace but never showed up. There was not enough storage in outside garbage for 11 people for a week. App says to call for midweek pickup. We did but they never came and we had garbage coming out our ears in the kitchen. We stayed in a different cabin here before for same pricing but it was immaculately kept and maintained. This one was not. If you are looking for high quality in cabin and service this is not your cabin. I would recommend the Alpine Mountain Village community but would look for a different cabin of higher quality for the amount charged.

Great place and would love to come back

  • 5 of 5

This is a perfect location for Pigeon Forge. Close enough to all the attractions but far enough away that you still can enjoy the woods. Kids loved the game room downstairs. Very clean. Would have no problems recommending this property to someone
