Public beach access is across the street, and the location at Folly's NE end means sparsely populated, lush beaches, and outstanding surfing and surfcasting. You're a short walk or bike ride from the NE end of the island and up-close views of the famous Morris Island lighthouse. A short bike ride in the other direction puts you at the restaurants, shops, and bars along Center Street, the Folly Pier, or the iconic 24/7 Bert's Market for some organic vegetables, a bottle of wine, or a growler of one of your favorite microbrews. Downtown Charleston is a short 20 minute drive in the car, making Folly Beach Escape the perfect location for visitors looking to experience a little of bit of everything Charleston and the South Carolina coast have to offer.
