Rick, I failed to write a review of your stay. THANKS FOR BEING A MODEL GUEST. Come back next year.
Kitchen was fully stocked. The unit was clean and had all of the supplies we needed. There was an issue with the tv not working correctly, however Michael addressed and resolved it right away. He put in a different provider and we never had another problem. Michael was an excellent host.
The unit is comfortable with everything that is needed. However the guest bedroom is really just an office with a Murphy bed. No place to hang clothes or store belongings. The condo is located within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping. Friendly neighbours too.
Great unit in this friendly and welcoming mid century modern community.
The Park Imperial complex and it's residents made my stay in Palm Springs a very positive experience. As a snowbird, I've been coming to the desert for the past seven years and have to say (even with Covid-19 virus the past couple weeks) this has been one of my more comfortable experiences. Michael was very accommodating and available for any questions I had. The unit is beautiful and equipped with everything I needed to make it me very own for 3 months.

Very nice place
Place was really nice. Everything was well taken care of. Pool and spa on site never had many people using them the whole time we were there. Location is perfect if you’re like us and like to spend time in downtown Palm Springs. A mile walk to the downstairs strip. Owner was really good to work with.

About the host
Hosted by Michael Kathriner
Hi, I am Michael. When I moved away from home in 1977, I moved to Palm Springs and it has been my home ever since. I love that Palm Springs is still a village at heart. The downtown is quiet, even at the busiest times of the year. There is no better place to people watch than on the corner of Tahquitz and Palm Canyon. People from all over the world pass by that corner daily. There is always something happening in the desert and if there isn’t, just 2 hours away are the mountains with snow and skiing (winter), the Pacific ocean with it’s fabulous beaches and Hollywood, the entertainment capital of the world. If that weren’t enough, the attractions in Southern California include: Disneyland, Universal Studio, Knotts Berry Farm, Magic Mountain, Sea World, Logoland, San Diego Zoo, and much more.
Why they chose this property
This is my home. I have completely rebuilt the interior from the studs out. The kitchen is my favorite of all the rooms in the house. It is laid out to COOK, a brand new LG gas stove and granite counters, with a 4 burner gas BBQ right out the door. The windows and sliding doors are all double-paned UV glass. The complex was built at the height of the 50’s modernist movement and I have retained much of that feel thought-out my home. I love art and my place is filled with bright and colorful pieces to enjoy. When it came time to do the patio area, I wanted something tranquil and Zen-like. The Bubbling fountain make this a quiet place to be with yourself.
