This fully equipped, luxury two-bedroom, penthouse (11th floor) condo, with spectacular views of the ocean and Inter-coastal (Halifax River), is situated on the quiet, "No Drive" portion of world-famous Daytona Beach.
There are very few condos in this area which offer breathtaking views of sunrises over the ocean AND spectacular sunsets over the Inter-coastal in the evening. This condo offers both (which is one of the reasons we bought it). Rarely will you find so much beauty, all day long!
We have completely remodeled the ENTIRE condo (top-to-bottom and back-to-front!) as of November, 2017 to add to the spaciousness and increase ocean views throughout the condo. Amenities include: All new white cabinets, porcelain tiled flooring and shower/tub surrounds; Master bathroom has extra-deep tub and shower with glass doors, removable shower head and double sinks. You will find everything and more that you need for a wonderful week's vacation and "home-away-from-home" experience in this 1,300 sq ft, clean, completely renovated and furnished condo located in a most family-friendly, secured, building ...so pack lightly! Amenities include free WiFi, a fully-stocked kitchen with cooking utensils, dishes and spices, and cable TV with premium channels in every bedroom and living room.
The living room is furnished with new leather couch and love seat and chairs; bedrooms provide new mattresses and mattress toppers; new linens, and bedding. We provide beach chairs, toys, boogie boards and beach towels for our guests’ enjoyment! We have done the work so you can keep it simple and relax!
We also have a three-bedroom condo in this same building which also has been recently entirely remodeled. DO check out the reviews for that site [VRBO page 814260] to get a feel for how we work with our renters/guests. We stay in both condos, depending on our family numbers...and we furnish them as if they are our home...because they ARE our retirement homes - our home-away-from home. We try to make every renter feel like they are our guests...because they are!
Fun things to do: While situated on the quiet/peaceful "No Drive" portion of the hard-packed, beautiful sandy beach, this condo is located within a couple of blocks of the "Drive" beach and within about four blocks of Sun Glow Pier, where you will find lifeguards, food vendors, loads of sunbathers and people strolling (for wonderful people-watching)! Crabby Joe's restaurant, situated on the Pier, offers breakfasts, lunches and dinners, as well as a quick refreshment. Rent fishing poles at the end of the Pier and grill the fish you catch for dinner on one of the two outdoor, poolside grills.
Garage parking offers private, secured and designated parking for one car.
For the comfort of all guests, PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED and this is a NON-SMOKING unit. Also, NO PARTIES...No exceptions!

Second Bathroom: Shower; one-basin sink.

What Makes The Shores Club Unique?
When you walk out the ocean-side door of The Shores Club, you walk directly onto the pool deck. Walk across the pool deck, down the stairs to the beach and you are on the 23 miles stretch of hard-packed, sandy beach that makes up Daytona Beach. The Shores Club is on the quiet, “No Drive” portion of the beach and offers a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. But, just a quick walk down the beach, you will find plenty of people to watch, food vendors, lifeguards and SunGlow Pier with fishing pole rentals and its own restaurant, Crabby Joe's!
Our condo, #1102, is direct ocean-front property on the top floor of this eleven-story building. It offers immediate, front-door, quiet beach...but lots of activity just a 10 - 15 minute walk down the beach!

We purchased our first three bedroom condo at The Shores Club in 2016 because we fell in love with this area after a brother hosted a family reunion here! We LOVE the hard-packed sand, the views from both decks...We LOVE the tranquility and beauty! When we celebrated Thanksgiving at the condo with our family in 2016, we realized a three-bedroom, with a growing family, would never provide enough space. We love sharing the beauty with other like-minded vacationers...so we decided to buy "Home-Away-From Home Two!" We're from "north" country, so Daytona Beach Shores, now that John is retired, is our winter escape! But we also live in beautiful lake country...so summers are a great time to share our vacation homes with summer-time beach lovers!

We were sure we would retire on the Gulf side of Florida...BUT FELL IN LOVE WITH THE MILES AND MILES OF HARD-PACKED SANDY BEACH...AND BIRDS' EYE VIEWS OF OCEAN! We love sunrises, sunsets, pelican fly-bys, big waves, little waves, dolphins swimming with the paddleboarders....and an occasional whale! You have to come and stay in order to realize the beauty! We have learned that people who do come usually come back again and again! The people who live here - and their visitors - are super-friendly, the neighborhood is very safe, the building is secured....WHAT IS NOT TO LOVE???!!!

The benefits are listed above! But I forgot a MAIN one: TWO BALCONIES! One for sunrises...one for sunsets! The beauty from morning 'til night is overwhelming! Just sit out one night, listening to the waves and seeing the moon glittering on the ocean...and you will be hooked!

World class beach accommodations!
We booked our stay prior to the remodel. We we impressed then. After the remodel it is now world class! The design maximizes the view of the ocean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. We enjoyed it so much we never went out to eat!
They provided beach toys and chairs. The beach is wonderful. We enjoyed watching families making sandcastles and our walks.
We loved the security and ease of use. Great for families! A very quite building.
The owners are amazing to work with. Responsive to any and all questions. We look forward to returning again some day.

Clean, beautiful, amazing location, tons of amenities, fabulous hosts.
Wow, so impressed with this property! It’s been recently updated and it really shows. Everything was beautiful, comfortable, and extremely clean. Our hosts were wonderful, flexible with our last minute schedule change and had stocked the unit with everything you could think of from kitchen appliances to beach towels, beach toys and more. The view from the balcony as well as inside the unit was stunning. Highlights included watching the sun rise over the water without getting out of bed and watching dolphins play 50 feet from shore while sitting on the balcony. Location was great too- we were able to walk to a couple of different restaraunts and appreciated the no-drive policy of that section of the beach. If you are looking to rent a place right on the beach but don’t want to leave behind the comforts of a home, this place is perfect for you.

Better than Expected!!!
Our family of 6 stayed comfortably in this 2 bedroom condo. The view is breathtaking! The condo was immaculate! Everything was better than expected! Our children are all adult sized and we were plenty comfortable! Plenty of space! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need! Our family enjoyed the Bball court a lot:)
We were more than happy with everything there! Cheryl the owner is the nicest person and great to deal with! We will be back!

Additional information about rental rates
RULES: On rentals that are two weeks or longer, the management fee will increase by $20/week in addition to the first week administrative fee of $45.00 NO-SMOKING and NO PETS. NO EXCEPTIONS. (Smoking is allowed outside on the west-facing balcony only.) NO PARTIES OR SPECIAL EVENTS. The lease may not be sublet and there will be no overcrowding: Maximum limit of 7 people. To book a reservation, the renter must by 26 years of age or older. To check-in, the renter checking in must be 26 years of age or older. Lessee agrees to obey the rules of the Condominium. Rent payments and Security Deposit: The $300 security deposit must accompany the signed and completed lease agreement and both must be received within six days of booking in order to validate reservation. Remaining rental fees are due 60 days prior to check-in date. Minimum Stay: 7 nights, except during the months of October, November and January when a five day minimum stay is required. Otherwise, all rentals are Sat. to Sat. Check-in and Check-out: 3 p.m. check-in and 10 a.m. checkout. Housekeeping: On departure, all dishes must be clean and all linens washed, except for bedding. No more than two loads of laundry should be left. A charge of $25 per load will be made on any additional laundry - no exceptions. Garage Access: A garage door opener will be provided with garage parking for one vehicle. There is a $75 charge for any garage door opener that is not returned at check-out.
