Esta hermosa casa Noroeste fue construida en 2017, predominantemente con madera recogida selectivamente desde el sitio de la propiedad. Descansando en el borde del agua con vistas panorámicas de Westcott Bay esta casa de tres dormitorios, dos baños es el lugar perfecto para disfrutar de su tiempo en la isla de San Juan. La casa está en un callejón sin salida tranquilo con el acceso a muchos kilómetros de senderos bien marcados en el Parque Nacional y Roche Harbor sistemas de senderos. La Westcott Bay Oyster Company está a 10 minutos a pie de la casa. Hay pasos hacia su propia playa privada para disfrutar del agua y una puerta que ayuda a encerrar la cerca de ciervos para proteger el hermoso paisaje.

La espaciosa cocina gourmet está amueblada con todo lo necesario para disfrutar de las comidas con la familia y amigos. El comedor tiene vistas al agua con preciosas vistas de la puesta de sol. El salón cuenta con TV de pantalla plana con acceso a Netflix y otras opciones de TV inteligente.

El dormitorio principal está amueblado con una cama king y dos sillas de peluche donde se puede sentarse y leer mientras disfruta de la hermosa vista al agua y paisaje nativo. El baño principal tiene una bañera de inmersión, ducha de lluvia espaciosa y fregadero de buque.

El 2 º dormitorio (cama de matrimonio) y 3 º dormitorio (dos camas individuales) comparten un baño completo con una ducha de lluvia.

Termine su día en la encantadora cubierta de cedro mientras disfruta de una cena de barbacoa al aire libre entre amigos. Las aves marinas y la vida silvestre será seguro para facilitarle en el estilo de vida relajante isla.

Es común que las personas anclar en esta bahía, ya que está bien protegida, sin embargo, usted debe estar informado de las mareas como la costa puede obtener fangoso ..

This is our second time staying at this beautiful cabin. We spent Thanksgiving here and it was very relaxing. Easy walk to the trail systems, Westcott Bay Oysters and can walk (or drive) to Roche Harbor.

Reviewer Comments: Stayed at the Oyster Beach House for a week-end and got to enjoy Oysters at Wescott Bay Shellfish Company just a half mile walk from the house and had dinner at Duck Soup the next night. The view from the home is spectacular and it is a well appointed upscale home. My GF and I really enjoyed our stay despite the rain and wind.

Wonderful stay

We had a lovely time at this property. Access to the beach and sunsets are stunning. The house itself is beautifully designed and has everything you need. We were so grateful for the experience and hope to come back again next year!

Wonderful relaxing experience!

The cabin is immaculate, comfortable and quite luxurious. We explored the nearby trail systems, ate delicious meals at nearby restaurants and utilized the fully stocked kitchen. Will be back!

Oyster House is excellent!

This was our third time staying at this gorgeous home. Westcott Bay is gorgeous and peaceful with easy access to Roach Harbor, Friday Harbor and all the other fun things on San Juan Island. We will definitely return again and would recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy San Juan Island.

Beautifully Serene

The home was better than described, absolutely beautiful! It was warm, welcoming, and immaculate! A picturesque setting in a quiet and forest-like neighborhood, on the water and walking distance to the delicious Wescott Bay Shellfish Co. Yum! Beautiful and Peaceful

The place was spectacular for our Girls getaway. Impressed the moment we arrived. Gorgeous views, well appointed furnishings, beds were comfy, bathrooms and showers were clean, spacious with strong hot water pressure. We made dinner one night and the Thermador appliances were easy to work with. We’d come back here, highly recommend.

Spring Celebratory San Juan Island Getaway

This gorgeous home had an incredible view of the water and the house was comfortable for 2 couples celebrating birthdays. We enjoyed this quiet neighborhood and discovering the island treasures like Roche Harbor, local winery/brewery, sights, and restaurants. The only thing that needed to be looked into were the blinds in the bedroom closest to the kitchen, we wished they closed for privacy and blocking out the morning sun.

Beautiful, Quiet, and Relaxing

Very clean, quiet, relaxing and beautiful location. The view is fantastic. The home is just as advertised - clean, comfortable, and peaceful. It is located in a neighborhood, but you really feel like you are in your own little world. We enjoyed taking day trips around the island and then coming home in the afternoons to relax and enjoy the calm beauty. We don’t have anything negative to say about the home or surrounding area. Would highly recommend.

Peaceful family retreat away from home

We stayed at the Oyster Beach House in October, and had a wonderful stay! We sought wheelchair accessibility and child-friendly accommodation and were not disappointed. Each room had its own zone climate control, and the bathrooms had heaters so early morning showers were pleasant. The kitchen was wonderfully appointed, and the place was spotless. We made a couple inquiries with the rental agency and they were super quick to respond. The WiFi supported three adults worth of devices, and the house had a number of books and games for kids and adults alike. Will absolutely aim to stay at Oyster Beach House on our next SJI trip.

It provided a nice setting for a restful time on San Juan Island and the close proximity to Roche Harbor and Duck Soup Restaurant made it convenient to enjoy at our leisure. The main space felt spacious with the high ceiling, the house was clean and tidy and the waterfront location made for great viewing of tide changes and sunsets. My only question would be why so many requirements before checkout ie. loading the dishwasher, starting a load of laundry, stripping the linen off the beds etc. when a cleaning fee is added to the nightly rate of the stay. They don't have these at hotels.

We are glad you enjoyed your time at the Oyster Beach House. This is a lovely waterfront property and offers a genuine San Juan Island experience. To answer your question about the checkout procedures, we just ask for those items to be done just to assist our staff with the turnover of cleaning an entire home. You are correct that hotels do not ask these procedures to be done, but again, this is an entire home. Any checkout tasks completed by guests is extremely helpful. We do not enforce the checkout procedures to be done by our guests, but it is very, very, appreciated by our staff.

Ant infestation

Reviewer Comments: The location is great; this is the second time we have stayed at the property. The first time was amazing, so we were eager to stay there again. This time though, was a big disappointment. The house was infested with carpenter ants. There were ants in the kitchen, on the dining table, in the bathrooms, and in the bedrooms. Ants were crawling up our legs, and we had to watch our steps when walking around the house and, on occasion, stepped on a few.To make matters worse, the management company did nothing to help. We notified them of the issue as soon as we arrived, and their only advice was to put out ant baits (which didn't help). We were looking forward to a relaxing weekend on the island. What a big disappointment. We will not be returning.

‘Ant Infestation’ is a bit of a stretch, unfortunately. This guest stayed at the lovely Oyster Beach House during a seasonal and very normal ant bloom. This home is located in a rural, waterfront, forest, and insects are a normal occurrence in this area. Our property managers provided much attention to this guest and their family to resolve their complaints. It seemed our efforts to help were not satisfying enough. As other reviews state, this is a beautiful and well-cared for home on San Juan Island. The local pest control company is on a regular service schedule for this home. We are disappointed that this guest felt the need to review this home so poorly.
