Beautiful home with views of the Ocean and Dinosaur Caves Park. Home had all the amenities one could want and need. The host LaDean Talcott and her son, Paul, were most gracious and took care of our needs. Close proximity to Pismo Beach, San Luis Obispo, Edna Valley and Paso Robles wineries,Big Sur, and Hearst Castle. Highly recommend this lovely home.

We loved our stay. The property manager went out of her way to make our stay memorable. My granddaughter enjoyed the park across the street. We loved the food at Zorro's and long leisurely beautiful walks along the water.

Amazing Stay!

Our family enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! The view is breathtaking of the ocean and there were dozens of unforgettable sunrises and sunsets from the rooftop deck! This home is very clean and well maintained and we felt right at home durin our stay!

Absolutely wonderful property! Close to all the Central Coast has to offer. Beautiful home, too!

We knew we were going to love it from the photos on Vrbo and it didn’t disappoint us. Roomy, cool top deck roof with an amazing view of the ocean, the dunes and Pismo. The property manager is very attentive and quick to respond to calls! Definitely want to go back.

Beautiful Home and Location

We loved our month's long stay. It was perfect for us. The home was extremely well equipped and had everthing we would need and more. The views off the decks are amazing. The weather could not have been more perfect in Shell Beach and we walked everywhere. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful home with spectacular views

Lovely home within one half block of the Pacific Ocean. Beautiful views of the ocean and mountains from the porch and roof top deck. Home is well furnished with everything one needs for an extended stay and unbelievably well organized. Several restaurants and coffee shops within easy walking distance. For visitors who like walking, there are wonderful bluff walks and Pismo Beach is about a mile walk away. With 3 bedrooms and 2 & 1/2 baths, the house can accommodate a large family. Easy to relax and enjoy oneself here.

Summer at Seaview

Our stay at the beautiful Seaview house exceeded our expectations. The property manager is excellent at communicating and ensuring that our stay was as smooth as possible. The house is immaculate and equipped with everything you may need, and more. Our family of five enjoyed the perfect location - walking distance to Dinosaur Park, Shell Beach, many wonderful restaurants and a great coffee shop. We enjoyed so many excursions within a short drive - Avila Beach, horseback riding at the sand dunes, ziplining in Santa Margarita, a quick drive to downtown San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay and so much more. We can’t say enough great things about our stay at the Seaview house and the memories made. We can’t wait to return again!! ❤️❤️❤️

Perfection

I knew as soon as I walked in the door that I was not going to ever want to leave! The care that the owner & property manager take to make everything just right is like nothing I’ve seen before in a vacation rental. Everything was clean, organized, and in great shape/working order. Other than one locked door into one small closet, the entire house was ours to use, and it was uncluttered and best of all, had plenty of storage places for our things. I honestly don’t think that in 5 weeks, I ever wished for something that wasn’t there. As far as location...holy cow! The view from the upper balcony and the rooftop deck!! Every morning I looked out there and felt so thankful to be alive. Walks in the park & along the bluffs, watching the seals (sea lions?) play, and watching the sunset every night at the tiny park at the end of the street were my daily routines. We just left yesterday and tbh, I cried a little. Thank you, Linda & LaDean, for a providing such a beautiful retreat for a vacation I’ll never forget.

Didn’t want to leave!

We had a wonderful experience at seaview, and miss it already. For our visit we had two couples making the most of pandemic work from home life staying and working from the property. The home is beautiful and had everything we could have possibly needed. The views are unbeatable, with sweeping views of the ocean and shoreline from the open plan living room / kitchen, from the patio, and from the rooftop balcony. It is in a great location near the park, walking areas, restaurants and the beach. We can’t wait to go back!

The property was as described. The ocean views were spectacular and the home had everything we needed and more. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning. There are endless activities in the area. I would recommend this property! The property manager was organized, attentive and very kind.

Beautiful Home Away from Home

We had a wonderful stay at the Seaview “home away from home”. The house is clean, well decorated, well organized and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms and bathrooms are well supplied. A very pleasant home. And the ocean and park views from the porch and roof deck are beautiful. Walks on the beach and hikes are close by, and several restaurants and coffee shops are within easy walking distance. We particularly enjoy our interactions with LaDean, the property manages. She is very pleasant, helpful, and attentive and responsive to our questions and needs.

A prefect 10!

We rented the house for Summer of 2017 and it was the best vacation rental ever. We’d used this house like our own, truly our home away from home. How can you rate/review your own house? But let me try. The house is comfy and clean, kitchen and linen supplies are ample, furnishing is tasteful and the view is dynamite. It is a perfect 10 and this is not an overstatement! The location is so convenient, close to beaches, restaurants, shopping areas and downtown San Luis Obispo. You can walk to the Dinosaur Park, see the magnificent Pacific Ocean shoreline, and local cafes- all just a few steps away. We really enjoyed all the great outdoors this location provides. Some days, we spent hours enjoying the ocean view and Pismo Beach's unique coastline during our walks and on the rooftop terrace. Sometimes you can get a glimpse of whales, if are lucky enough. There is also cave kayaking and sand dunes driving available if you feel adventurous. Whether you are in Central Coast or California or anywhere in the world, it doesn’t get much better than this! We are lucky to have a whole summer of fond memories here.

Linda is a retired teacher and Jay is a farmer. They have always loved the Central Coast and enjoy this home when they can get away. Best of all, Linda loves reading the guest book to hear about all the special memories experienced in her vacation rental.

The Shell Beach neighborhood dates back to the 1800's, some old and quaint little houses, some new and large with rooftop decks. It is a a friendly neighborhood. Most residents have patios in the front of their homes where they socialize with their friends and neighbors. People love to walk their dogs along the coastal street, and relax in the many little parks as well as the big Dinosaur Park.

Shell Beach has a little church, a charming little library, excellent places to eat, shops, small and large motels and hotels, of all kinds. The main street is always alive with walkers and bikers. For those who love to walk, it is not far to the downtown area of Pisno Beach.

The ocean views and the spectacular sunsets, the pelicans, the friendly neighbors, as well as the little parks make for a most charming neighborhood.
