Ellie's Buena Vista (Ellie's Great View) est une maison de style serein et magnifique de Santa Fe dans le quartier historique du Capitole du Sud. Une promenade facile et délicieuse de 15 minutes à pied du Santa Fe Plaza via le vieux sentier de Santa Fe, les clients apprécieront vraiment cette demeure spacieuse et les avantages que l'emplacement idéal a à offrir. Cette maison spacieuse offre 3 chambres et 2 salles de bains, un grand salon avec une cheminée kiva sur mesure. Patios avant et arrière fermés pour la vie privée et une petite cour fermée accessible depuis la cour supérieure. Disponibilité de l'espace de stationnement. Ce merveilleux hébergement est facile à rejoindre et se trouve à une courte distance en voiture de Paseo de Peralta, l'une des principales routes de Santa Fe. Les clients peuvent choisir de marcher tôt ou tard dans le quartier historique et charmant.

Entry instructions could use some updating. Also, was told we could park in the garage but it was full of furniture. Outside wasn't raked or mowed but it was too chilly to spend much time outside anyway. House was clean and comfortable and the location was great. Really enjoyed the fireplace! Lots of room and full of charm.

Blissful!

Our third time staying at Ellie's and easily the most wonderful hosts and properties I have had the pleasure of staying with! You could not find better for a vacation with friends and family. It's scenic enough that even if you're too tired to go downtown or a museum, it's as much of an escape to just relax inside or on the shady terrace playing games. Thank you thank you! We will be back again!

Ellie’s was a terrific spot, and our stay in Sept 2025 for 3 nights was excellent. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked thoughtfully with everything we needed for cooking (we cooked breakfast in the house but ate at yummy restaurants otherwise). The bathrooms are cozy. Washer and dryer worked fine. Great quiet neighborhood. We parked right outside the house and hardly needed the car because we walked most everywhere. Cute upscale grocery just a few blocks away. Excellent communication with the host, who quickly responded when I requested a slightly early check-in. An excellent stay!

We so appreciated this adorable home so beautifully decorated and close to everything. Very comfortable beds! Good space. Outdoor areas were so nice. We loved being able to have our dogs here too. Had a couple questions during the stay that were quickly answered.

Great location. Very clean, well supplied and great location in historic district. This is an older so main room gets very cool, but bedrooms don't have cooling vents so recommend that bedroom doors are left partially open for better air circulation. Several outdoor patios and small yard area for relaxing and entertaining.

Lovely home in a great location

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay in this lovely NM style adobe home. The kitchen is well-appointed and the fireplace set up and gift of wine were really nice touches! Museums and historical sites were an easy walk away. We would definitely rent this home again.

Ellie's is a lovely property, with a spacious, well-equipped kitchen. The cookware and tableware is in great condition. We enjoyed dining in, as well as breakfast and evening cocktails in the garden. The bedding was very comfortable, and we slept very well in the quiet neighborhood. The house is very user-friendly, with helpful labels and instructions where needed. We would definitely like to stay again, upon our next trip to Santa Fe.

Beautiful location and well stocked home!

This place was exactly what we needed for our family’s stay in Santa Fe. Close to the plaza, and within an easy drive to everything else! The outside seating areas were wonderful in the afternoon sun. The house was so clean and the kitchen had all the necessities to make a home cooked meal. We would definitely stay here again!

Super cool house!

Experience was great from start to finish. The house was beautiful and felt very comfortable. Outdoor areas were lovely with great views. Some days we never even got in the car as many destinations are a short walk. Owners are very helpful and provided fast communication. Would definitely recommend staying at Ellie’s!

Natives of Santa Fe, Reina Roybal Romero and Michael Roybal are siblings who grew up in the family home, 210 E. Buena Vista. Both attended Wood Gormley and Harrington Jr. High, neighborhood schools. Michael lives in Santa Fe and Reina lives part-time in Santa Fe and in Albuquerque with husband, James.
Ellie is the matriarch of the family and the house is named in her honor.

According to City of Santa Fe documents, the Buena Vista Addition was part of the Mahaffey Tract developed in 1911 in the Territory of New Mexico. This house was at one time Reese Cradle Home a birthing center which accommodated the many baby boomers born in Santa Fe in the late 1940's and early 1950's.
Ellie's Buena Vista is a beautiful and historic family home.

A very special attraction is the beautiful mountain views from the living room windows and front patio. Close to the historic plaza via the Old Santa Fe Trail and to the Santa Fe Railyard, there are many wonderful restaurants and attractions within walking distance. The majestic Cathedral Basilica is close by and visitors will hear the tolling of bells calling worshippers to services. Hungry for delicious food? Walk to popular eateries for pizza, New Mexican food, chile burgers, or some very fine dining. History buffs will enjoy the many museums and historic sites as they walk downtown including our state capitol building. Need groceries? Visitors will appreciate the nearby local grocery (known to be frequented by famous actors) which has been a Santa Fe staple for years. Art lovers will enjoy the many galleries along Canyon Road which is an easy walk from 210. Santa Fe has a huge grower's market offering wonderful selections of home-grown products including our famous chile. Drive to the Sangre de Cristos for spectacular views including golden aspen trees changing color in the fall. This is a lovely and easy drive whether you're skiing on a wonderful hike or enjoying a picnic in the mountains. We are certain you'll find Ellie's Buena Vista an enchanting and special place!
