This cabin was super clean and met all our needs. It's in the perfect location - steps from the pool, short drive to the National Park and minutes from grocery, restaurants and entertainment.
As a side note, the driveway for this cabin is incredibly steep. Keep that in mind when it comes to vehicle(s) that will be there. There is parking across from the cabin, but it would be rather difficult to haul any luggage, coolers, etc up that hill.
A Little Disappointing
I've stayed in many other cabins in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg and this by far was the most basic. The furnishings in the cabin were very basic and worn. The shower curtain in the bathroom upstairs was ripped and did not fit the tub enclosure properly. The bedding was outdated and worn--comforter was much like you would find at a low-end motel. There were several lightbulbs out. The kitchen had minimal pans/cooking utensils/dishes for basic meal prep. There was dust on the top of the refrigerator, shower tub enclosure, baseboards, etc. The cabin needs a good deep cleaning. It was difficult to regulate the temperature in the cabin as the bedroom upstairs was very hot, even with all of the vents closed, but the main living space of the cabin was drafty. There were broken blinds in the cabin and mold on the underside of the hot tube cover. I was expecting the furnishings to be nicer and more comfortable for the price and location of the cabin. Overall, this property was a little disappointing. Location was great and is very close to the action in Pigeon Forge.
I don't often leave reviews, good or bad, but our family of four had a great time at this cabin. It was very clean and well kept. The location is perfect, as it is right across the road from the communal pool. And we easily made it to the main strip in town in less than five minutes, but it is secluded enough to feel that you're hours away from the hustle and bustle of life. Publix grocery store is about a five minute drive, and several restaraunts are just as close. If I had anything to complain about, it would be the hot tub, but that ended up being user error. Me and hot tubs don't get along, but once I figured out what to do, it worked as it was suppose to.
We will definitely be staying here again. We have rented cabins in several different areas of town and most of them are so tiring just driving through all the mountain roads and twists and turns. This is so much easier to get to, and so much closer to all the fun activites and restaruants.
