A wonderful 2 bedroom apartment with far reaching views
The property has the benefit of dual aspect with views facing both westward of the sea and Lyme Regis and eastward overlooking the magnificent Jurassic coast line
The apartment is situated 2 minutes from the beach and overlooks the West Bay harbour giving it the advantage as such of being able to sit in the lounge and see and enjoy all the activities of a small fishing harbour without having to leave the comfort of the property.

Lovely place for a seaside break

Small but comfortable 2-bed flat in large large (100 year+) terrace. Very close to the beach, harbour and village of West Bay. Lovely walks, plenty of pubs and good swimming in the sea (not necessarily in that order). About a half -hour stroll to the town of Bridport and a short drive to Lyme Regis.

Fabulous location

Loved West Bay, flat in prime location would have had stunning views had scaffolding not been up. Only told last minute that this was up. Flat had every thing you need for a short stay even though the shower wasn't working properly. Flat was very clean and lots of little extras that made it feel like home from home.

West Bay August 2021

It was a fabulous find for our last minute summer break. The thought and attention to detail was brilliant. Everything you needed and usually forget to pack, was there. There was a lot of TLC put in by Margaret & Don, to ensure that everyone who stays here enjoys a home from home experience. Luckily, we didn't have any rainy days but there were a number of games/puzzles to keep you entertained. We were pleasantly surprised with how much West Bay had to offer. The location of the apartment was ideal, the Jurassic Coast is literally a stones throw away. You can see it from both bedroom windows! Pubs, restaurants, shops, beautiful sunsets and even donuts! What more do you need when on your holidays.. We didn't want to go home!

Great location at harbour and beach

Cosy, comfortable flat with everything we needed. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Lovely views of West Bay and the harbour - we spent time watching people crabbing off the quay and the fishermen bringing in the catch. Great base from which to explore Dorset too. We really enjoyed our stay.

What a lovely location! The flat was bright, clean and very comfortable. We had a query about the hot water - we sent a text to the owner who responded straight away. I can't recommend this property or location enough - would definitely go back!!

Great Location

This apartment is a little gem! It had everything we needed as a base for our holiday. Perfect location in the centre of West Bay. We managed to get a parking spot along the wall on arrival and we decided not to move all week. We had amazing sunshine all week so didn’t need to venture far as the beach is literally on the doorstep (beach shoes required as it’s very stoney!!) used the bus to go to Lyme Regis one day and to the market in Bridport on the Wednesday. Ate at the Bridport Arms and the George but ate in a couple of times too. A fantastic week and would definitely recommend it!

Excellent location

Info in the property differed from online details about checkout time. Had no instructions for operating the heating. Payment for electricity required. Needed clarity of where we could park for free as a resident of Pier Terrace. Needs a safe for valuables. Long mirror.

Perfect location and cosy apartment

Had a wonderful stay - the apartment is beautifully situated and is warm, cosy and equipped with all you need. We had 5 days of lovely Dorset sunshine and it was perfect to step out onto the beach. The owner and housekeeper were both very helpful.

A little gem!

We absolutely loved staying here. The apartment sparkled on arrival and was well equipped. The views were amazing over the harbour and beach. Overall the accommodation surpassed our expectations and we shall definitely be returning.

Lovely stay in West Bay

Great little apartment in a wonderful position in West Bay. It had everything we needed and was ideal for people and wave watching . We had some ferocious winds whilst we were there with very high tides and it was spectacular to be able to watch the sea and some of the boat owners trying to stabilise their boats as the water rose . Didn’t manage to get a space in the residents parking whilst we were there and had to shift car a few times from the short stay to long stay car parks but still very close and maximum charge £2 per day Great little cafe, Cherries for breakfast and brunch immediately attached to Bay house . Would certainly recommend for couples

The accommodation was good, everything we needed. The view from the property was fantastic!

Week's Stay at Bay House Appartment F

We were a couple who had an extremely pleasant stay, although would probably say it would be a little cramped with four people. Property was spotlessly clean & it was appreciated that basics such as tea, coffee, small milk & even a packet of biscuits etc together with houshold items of washiing up liquid, 'j' cloths, tea towels and the like were also provided. Would have liked a fridge with an icebox rather than larder, missed our ice cubes! The resort itself was very agreeable, however if we had brought young children we probably would have been dissapointed that most of the beach was out of action (don't recall being advised of this). Certainly hope the scaffolding which was erected across the front and back windows of adjacent property hasn't been moved across for next clients as this would certainly detract from the view not to mention having workman looking into your room. We would definately book this property if visiting this area again.
