The spaceThere is a selection of excellent restaurants on the beach and in the area. The nearest supermarket is just 850mts and 1.3km to the centre of Alvor where shops, cafés and bars are available. There is also a bowling alley just 550meters from the property.The apartment sleeps 4 and is set in a closed condominium with a large garden, a children’s playground and a swimming pool for adults and children.There is a family bathroom, an open plan kitchen / living room with sofa-beds and a double bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and toaster.A perfect holiday home for a small family or freinds who will enjoy the beach and all that the lovely town of Alvor has to offer!Guest accessGuests have access to the communal pool and garden.Other things to noteMonthly rentals do not include utilities (water and electricity). These are charged seperately on a monthly basis according to a monthly consumer rate. More information on request.Long term winter rentals are between October and May, minimum 1 month stays to 6 months maximum.The security deposit for monthly winter lets is 250 euros (refunded at the end of the stay).

Stayed as couple September 2013

Well equipped kitchen, fairly spacious apartment - plenty of room for 2. Very quiet apartments, appeared to be a mix of residential properties and holiday lets. Small outdoor swimming pool available (which we did not use but looked clean and well kept pool area). 20 mins walk into local town (but we do walk slowly), where there are lots of shops, cafes, restaurants and a big supermarket. Bit of an uphill trek back which could be a problem for those with mobility issues, but taxi back only 3,50 to 4 euros. Boat trips from the harbour and regular bus to Portimao from town. 15 mins walk to local beach which is very nice and sandy, if a bit overcrowded. Claudia, the property manager, was always available on Whats App, and very helpful. Downside - no small supermarket, cafe, bar or restaurant in the immediate vicinity. No wi-fi available at property (but we were aware of that when booking). All in all a very comfortable stay.
