Paul was super helpful and attentive. It was nice to have someone meet us at property. And he had some basics in the fridge for us which ended up being a godsend, as our taxi to take us for supper never arrived. Thank you for everything.

We are a married couple and were looking for a private villa to relax and re-connect ... just the two of us. It is not easy to find a small 1-2 bedroom villa with privacy, so we ended up booking this. It was larger than we needed, but we absolutely LOVED the ocean view, private infinity pool, and large master suite with ocean views. Each day was truly special having a morning and evening swim looking out at the sea. We saw some green parrots flying by, and some bats at night. If you're looking for something truly private, this is perfect. The master bathroom was great with an ocean view from the shower and bath - as well. Our host, Fiona, made our stay even better with some welcome treats (we finished the small bottle of rum, thank you!). It's also very close to the beach and to the luxury shopping and restaurants in Holetown. Enjoy!

Simply spectacular

We had a fantastic stay at the villa. Danielle was always available via whatsapp and super accommodating with any requests we had before and during our stay. She welcomed us upon arrival, making check-in a breeze. The villa is simply spectacular - spacious and with all the amenities you need for a wonderful stay. The infinity pool has an incredible view of the sea & sunset. Perfectly located a few minutes from the beach, restaurants, bars, and surrounded by green. I couldn't reccommend this more.

Lovely property, looks exactly as pictures show, very clean, communication with owner Malcolm was always speedy, easy and clear! We were so grateful for his flexibility. Property manager Paul in Barbados was very responsive, dealt with a few issues quickly. Our family of 6 adults enjoyed our stay at Ignorant Bliss, 8 days; midweek clean was appreciated. Mattresses were comfortable for our bunch. Outdoor furniture in great condition with super shaded and sunny areas, indoor seating best for 6. Of note, walk to beach/Thunder Bay beach bar is 15min, easy walk down though hill coming up, worked for us though. Island now has rideshares uBer and PickUp Barbados for those not renting vehicles. We used these often! Note that minimal amenities are provided – dishsoap, salt/pepper, shampoo, etc.; be sure to pickup with grocery; 10 minute drive or 20 uBer. TV is not Smart for Chromecast or mirroring, bring cables. Main area does not have A/C though bedroom ones working well. Breezes throughout house are wonderful when all is open, bugs weren’t a problem unless wind was low. Daily views and sunsets were wonderful, monkeys on property were fun to spot! Thank you for this stay!
