About this property

Without waiting in a ferry line, Camano Island is the perfect place, only 90 minutes from Seattle that feels a world away! This beautiful home is on a quiet street tucked above Elger Bay with sweeping views of the bay, Saratoga Passage and the Olympic Mountains from nearly every room in the house. Enjoy two large outdoor entertaining spaces and a well groomed flat lawn, which is ideal for playing yard games.

The main floor has a large open kitchen, living and dining area, a master bedroom with an oversized queen bed, a love-seat that converts to a comfortable twin bed and full bath attached, plus an additional 3/4 bath. The downstairs has another large living room, one bedroom with a queen and a second bedroom with a queen and full bed. There is a full bath on this floor as well.
The beach is a five minute walk away. This house has lots of board games, a foosball table and ping pong table. Use the firepit to roast some marshmallows or enjoy a glass of wine. Watch the Victoria Clipper and many boats go by. Check out the whales during the migration season, enjoy viewing the beautiful sailboats in the sunsets that drop anchor to spend the night in the bay. Eagles that nest in a tree nearby often soar above the house and water.

This is an ideal home for many different groups; a girl's weekend, families, a romantic couple's weekend to name a few. The owners love this home and use it often, so it's well stocked for all of your needs. A small store for any extras is just a couple of minutes away.

Camano Island offers activities for everyone....walking the beach, crabbing, kayaking, trail hiking, fishing, golfing, zip lining, fun thrift shopping, incredible playgrounds and much more! This home is conveniently located just minutes away from two state parks, including one with a boat rental. A few other possibilities nearby include the spectacular tulip fields, Seattle Premeium Outlet shopping, LaConnor, Whidbey Island and two casinos.

Spacious home with great view

Large home, complete kitchen, great views, quiet neighborhood. Perfect for our needs -just 2 people but would be a good choice for family with children as there are lots of beds and toys for kids of all ages.

Amazing View!

Easy getaway, comfortable with great view

Quiet neighborhood, beautiful views with lots of great outdoor seating and lounging on deck and patio. Full kitchen and comfortable beds! From easy to use outside shade umbrellas to at hand throw blankets inside, a very spacious and comfortable place all around! Definitely recommend!

Wonderful views and location

Had a wonderful stay in Camino Island. The property was well equipped and the location is prime. I give it 5 stars, a few things to know though to ensure it meets the next renters expectations. The view is beautiful. The outdoor patio is why you rent this place. It’s stunning. Well equipped kitchen, good appliances. The AC was amazing. 1. It’s not on the listing, but no access to the laundry room. With a family, may be a deal breaker on a minimum 3 night stay. I get the water is expensive but I would rather pay more and have access. It’s not a budget rental price point that surprised me. 2. There is a lot of dog hair, everywhere. Coffee table, rugs, couches and wood floor. Not sure if the cleaner even cleaned prior. Just know upfront… it’s significant. It was a nice stay. AC was a lifesaver during the heat wave.

Check-in and Check-out process were seamless. Beds were comfortable. Home contained everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Beautiful state parks nearby. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the view.

Fantastic View

Overall place was well stocked and the view was just gorgeous! My only complaint was I received no check in information until I reached out to property manager who informed me that my contract was never signed. Luckily was able to do this on a layover via cell phone, but it would have been nice to be informed when I made my final payment. The area is just lovely!!!

Camano Island Retreat

Camano beauty

This VRBO was an absolutely fabulous place to stay. Great family space both upstairs and down. The deck facing the bay was a wonderful area to sit and talk or read while enjoying the water view and the same view seen from inside. The place was very clean. It seemed they have stocked the kitchen and house with everything one might need for a getaway. State parks with hiking and pebble beach were a short drive away as is a grocery store. I highly recommend this VRBO and would be happy to stay here again if I am in the area.

Staycation

This house has set a high standard for all other vacation rentals. They had everything that we needed. Plenty of dishes, seating, enough fire pit chairs, towels for everyone and even a great area for the kids to play on the grass. The kids loved the foosball table. The location was great for witnessing low tides and high tides. Lots of instructions were left and we felt we knew what was expected of us.

Older home that has been updated and decorated in very good taste. Very clean with a fantastic view of the Saratoga Passage and Whidbey Island. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Good location, well equipped home

This was a lovely home, with a beautiful view. It was well equipped for your every need. Very nice property with a wonderful fire pit to enjoy on those cooler evenings. Property owners were very responsive and accommodating.

Beautiful, comfortable and well appointed for families

We had a truly lovely stay at this beautiful home! We loved the big widows and deck and even saw a grey whale from the property! We really appreciated how well appointed the kitchen was with everything you could need to cook and share a meal - including kids plates and utensils. We also really appreciated the kids toys and books, the baby gate at the top of the stairs and the full blackout blinds in the bedrooms! Anyone who has traveled with a toddler knows that the blackout curtains situation can be make or break for naps, so not having to worry about that was awesome. We walked down the beach every day we were there and generally just found the area very peaceful. It was rainy both days, so we didn't enjoy the yard games, but we would love to return in the summer when we could take good advantage on being outside! Overall, this was a wonderful home and perfect for our needs. Thank you to our hosts!

Family Christmas escape

We wanted to get away for Christmas. Pleasantly surprised to be greater by a lovely Christmas tree. House had plenty of room for us to all gather in front of the TV or by the tree or separate for quiet time alone. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, bakeware and spices condiments. The beach is a short walk away. We didn’t think to check the tide chart so we missed out on a beach walk. I would love to go back.
