About this property
Yosemite Hilltop Cabins, Lupin Cabin,15 min to the Valley floor, Wifi
Thank you for selecting Yosemite Hilltop Cabins for your get-away! You will receive a pre-check-in email regarding your stay, if you can fill that out it would be much appreciated. As some details are required, other questions simply help with the housekeeping schedule.
Yosemite Hilltop Cabins are located within the gates of Yosemite National Park in the tiny community of Foresta. It is hard to believe that such a quiet and peaceful place like this exists just fifteen minutes from the sometimes bustling Yosemite Valley.
NOTE – This listing is for the Lupin Cabin. The listing and availability calendar for the Sage Cabin is also on VRBO/HomeAway under property number 815550. Both cabins are on the same property, have the same floor plan, and are furnished almost identically.
Our cabins are very private. Even though the Sage and Lupin Cabins are located next to each other they are oriented to maintain maximum privacy. Each cabin has 17-foot-tall wood beam ceilings with ceiling fans and lots of windows to take advantage of the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
Each cabin has a master bedroom with a comfy king-size bed and down comforter. There is also a foldout sofa bed that is the size of a full mattress. The cabin has a full bath, full kitchen, and reading loft. Each cabin also has its own patio with a high quality Weber gas barbecue
When you arrive at your cabin there will be fresh linens on the bed and clean towels in the bathroom. There will be brand-name shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the bathroom. You will only need to bring food, clothes, and personal toiletry items.
Fantastic hiking and running trails with wildflowers, waterfalls, and wildlife can be accessed right from the cabins.
Unfortunately no pets or dogs are allowed. Yosemite is not very dog friendly. You won't be able to take your dog with you on hikes.
Each cabin has a TV/DVD player. The TV has no programming, DVD only. There is a small DVD library to pick from or you can bring your own movies. The kitchen has all the cookware and dinnerware that you will need to prepare and serve meals. The kitchen also has a microwave oven, toaster, blender, coffee grinder, and coffee maker. The cabins are heated in the winter by propane heaters that look like wood-burning stoves. Both cabins have evaporative coolers that work great to keep the cabins cool during the summer.. Some cell phones work at the cabins. Verizon is the best. Each cabin has a land-line telephone for use during your stay. There is satellite internet provided by HughesNet. There is a cap on the amount of bandwidth that is available. PLEASE DO NOT STREAM MOVIES OR WATCH VIDEOS AS IT WILL IMPACT GUESTS THAT ARRIVE AFTER YOU.

Excellent location just outside the Valley, so many options to visit and see Yosemite - Cabin was exactly as described, clean, cozy and comfortable (amazingly comfortable bed and couch after hiking days). Peaceful location - owners were very responsive and helpful. Would love to come back again.
Lovely little cabin, perfect for our family of four. Semi-secluded, very quiet area. Nice and close to the valley floor. Steve was very responsive. We greatly enjoyed our stay, and would stay again!
Very nice cabin in perfect location for Half Dome, El Capitan, Sentinel Dome, Yosemite Valley, several waterfalls, hiking, you name it . Perfect size for a couple. Couple things would make it better: Suggest internet that you can use for streaming video on those days weather does not permit outings, a larger TV and a basic satellite TV subscription. Thanks!
We enjoyed being away from the Valley tourists with this peaceful cabin. The park is so big so it was nice to stay somewhere within the park. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
The cabin is nice and has everything you need, nice and close to the valley but tucked away In a nice quiet dark secluded area of the forest.. We will be back again as this is our second year staying here on our monthly yearly trip to the Sierras. Steve the owner is great and answers any questions fast. Thanks again Chuck and Silvia de la cruz Ramona Ca.
We had a wonderful time at this clean, quiet, well-appointed cabin just minutes from Yosemite Valley! It was wonderful being so close to all the sights and enjoying the stars at night. The bed was very comfortable, the Weber grill was outstanding, and the automatic ice maker was much appreciated! Communication with the host was great. We would absolutely stay here again if we are fortunate enough to return to Yosemite. Thanks for a great stay!
The cottage was extremely comfortable and had everything needed to enjoy our stay at Yosemite.
