Felt as close to home as you can get😊
Beautiful home away from home. Although they are in the process of remodeling, it has all of the basics covered. Since it was my first time using the website, I brought dishes I would need with me. They had about 90% of them covered. The only negative statement I can make is the beds need new mattresses. They we hard/lumpy and smelled old. We had to buy toppers to be comfortable. On the whole, the place and surrounding areas were better than expected. Would rent it again!👍

Perfect for family or group of friends
Big open community space and lots of good options for sleeping arrangements. Not lake adjacent, but a good and convenient neighborhood very close to services of all kinds.

Tahoe home away from home
This was the ideal getaway for our friends and family. There were 4-6 of us at any one time but there's plenty of room for 10. Spacious bedrooms. Big, well-equipped kitchen and a peaceful deck out back. The hosts were super accommodating and communicative.

About the host

We are an active couple with 4 grown children; when we were looking to purchase a cabin in the Tahoe area, we wanted it on the north side because it's less touristy and yet an easy drive for the touristy things, such as nightlife. We enjoy kayaking, snowshoeing, skiing, sharing our place with our friends and plain ol' relaxing! We hope you enjoy our place as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

This property had all the features that we were looking for: first & foremost, affordability! Also, it had plenty of space for our family to invite another family or two, to enjoy quality time together. Ideally, we were also looking for a place with a garage (this one did!) and space in the backyard, to truly enjoy the great outdoors in our own backyard (this property definitely does & a spacious deck as well).

What makes this property unique

There are many special characteristics to this home: the stonework on the outside and along the fireplace. The slate floor for the entry; the large garage and large back deck. We've converted the carpet to wood floors on the main level and tile on the garage entry. This place has a lot of potential; we will continue updating it as money allows!
