The house itself was great—spacious, clean, and had all the essentials we needed. However, the pool was a big letdown and really affected our trip.
When we arrived, the pool was green with obvious algae. I called right away, and someone did come quickly, which I appreciate. But he seemed unsure of what to do—he was on the phone a lot asking questions, added some chemicals, and started the pumps. He told us it would clear up in a few hours, but nothing changed, and we lost a whole day of pool time.
The next morning, it still looked the same. I called again, and the same guy came back. He said give it a few more hours, but again, no real improvement—and we lost another day.
On the third day, we called one more time. This time he brought someone else, and they finally took the filters out. They were completely covered in algae—green all over. After cleaning them, we could finally see the pool working correctly, and by the evening, the water was clear. But by then it was too late for the kids and family to enjoy it.
We booked this place mainly so the kids could enjoy the pool and have some fun on their summer break. It was really disappointing that they weren’t able to use it until the very end of our stay.
Just wanted to share our experience and see if any kind of refund or compensation might be possible, considering how much this affected our time.
