About Vacasa, ME - Coastal Maine Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Good location - nice view - 4th floor could be an issue

  • 3 of 5

This is a clean, nice condo with very nice views of the mountain. Very convenient (ski in ski out as long as there is snow). Relatively quiet in spite of the fact it was a VERY busy weekend. Requested additional parking pass (there were 4 of us) and was told we needed to park across the street. Condo was clean - could use some updating but overall met all our needs. Just keep in mind hauling all your goods up 4 floors - not an issue for us but imagining a young family with kids and all the gear could be rather laborious.....

Spacious condo, great location and amenitiies

Would definitely stay here again. You can see the ski trail from the balcony. All you have to do is walk 30 seconds and you can ski down the trail to White Cap lodge! Also, the outdoor heated pool and hottub was amazing after skiing.

Good basic accommodation

  • 4 of 5

The unit was fine. Furniture in the living room should probably be replaced since the springs are poor. Plenty of room, nice hot tub, good access to the slopes. I should have realized it was on the fourth floor which made moving in a challenge. Overall good value for the money.

Good value for the money

  • 4 of 5

The unit was quiet and pretty comfortable. The living room furniture is getting old, sagging a bit and should probably be replaced. Did not try to sleep on the sofa bed but it didn't look comfortable. I should probably have realized that the unit was on the fourth floor which made moving in a bit of a challenge. Overall, I got more than I paid for. I would stay at Brookside again but probably in another building on a lower floor.

Great location, nice apartment

  • 4 of 5

This condo was a great home base for my family's trip to Sunday River. Everything was as advertised, we enjoyed it greatly. I'd note two things for future renters: first, is that the condo is on the fourth floor of the building and there's no elevator, so we made several trips up the stairs to unload (admittedly, we had a lot of stuff). Second, the pool is outside (but heated) - you enter inside a building but then the main pool (95% of it) is outside. Which is probably nice most of the time but the weather was extremely cold (-35 F with windchill) so not useful for this trip.

The condo itself was great - very convenient. Most days we drove the 500 yards up the mountain to the main resort to drop our kids at ski school (don't judge, it was 10 degrees below zero without windchill) but on our last day we took advantage of the "ski in, ski out" and skied down to the lower lodge to start our day.
