Great room and location

Very nice studio room and large bathroom. Stocked well with dishes and pots and pans. Small refrigerator-plenty big though. Great location, especially if you have a child in ski school like we did. Loved the access to the heated pool and hot tubs. Will be back!

It was a nice, well located and comfortable studio.

We had everything we needed for a comfortable and quiet stay. I would only recommend to change the curtains for the balcony door and window, too much light comes in in the morning and we could not sleep late. Thank you to the owner/agent for the good instructions to get to the apartment and for the area.

Great find

We really enjoyed our stay at Main Street Station. It's an excellent location, extremely close to the lifts and everything you could need in town. The closest lift, the Quicksilver lift, is one of the busiest lifts, so we'd often walk up to Beaver Run lift. That was a bit laborious in all the ski gear, but that's our fault for being inpatient on a busy holiday weekend!! The shops and restaurants around the property are really great with extremely friendly service.

The unit itself was very nice, perfect for a couple or maybe a family with 1 small child. I couldn't imagine having another couple or grown children in the unit. The kitchenette was well stocked and had everything you'd need to make breakfast, coffee, tea, or even a light/stove-top dinner (soup and grilled cheese anyone?). The king sized bed was heavenly and the fireplace made it extremely cozy. I would recommend running the humidifier that is in the hall closet to help any dry air issues.

Just a few things that could use updating... one (potentially two) of the overhead lights were out, most of the outlets on the left side of the bed/room did not work at all, and the shower water ran out of hot water in about 10 minutes. Whoever gets 2nd shower is out of luck. The water pressure is also very low.

A final note and nothing the property owner can do about this, but the elevators are very old and slow. I would recommend using the stairs when not in full ski attire.

Owner's Response: The lights all work - just have to find the switches. There is a wall switch to turn on to use the lamp by the bed. I’m checking on the water pressure and hot water. No other guests have complained about this, so thinking the complex was full and everyone taking showers at the same time after skiing, as it’s a central hot water system. You can always take a free shuttle to other ski lifts, including the Beaver Run lift, so you don’t have to walk far in ski gear. The shuttle is on Park Ave, just a few steps from this condo.

Convenience and comfort

Great property for a couple. Probably a personal preference, but I don't think I'd want to have more than two staying here, for comfort and privacy's sake. Short walk to/from the slopes, right at the intersection of Main and Park, so very convenient to all shops and restaurants.

Property is newly renovated, spotless and very well stocked for our week's stay. Free laundry down the hall was nice, too. We used the bathroom and entry closets to keep clothes and luggage out of sight. Could probably have used another towel rack or two - another in bathroom, maybe a small one in kitchen - but again, a personal preference. Grateful for the humidifier! We were there for winter visit, so kept doors/windows closed, no sound issues for us. Maybe in summer from traffic with doors open? Possibly, but in winter, folks seemed to quiet down fairly early. Again, we had no noise problems at all.

Front desk was very helpful, gave good recommendations and directions, helpful all around when asked. Shuttle around town was quick and convenient when going further afield than just Main Street. Great stay with Main Street Station and Kim!
