Completely updated, detached guest house in downtown Ozona. Walk 3 blocks to Molly Goodheads, the Ozona Pig, and other Ozona landmarks. The Pinellas Trail is a short walk, only 4 blocks away. Stilthouse Brewery, DeBine Brewery, and Palm Harbor Brewery/Two Lions Winery, as well as a number of well-known area restaurants, i.e. Fireside Pizza and The Thirsty Marlin; are within walking and biking distance in beautiful downtown Palm Harbor. The Dunedin Causeway and Caladesi Island State Park and beach, with their many restaurants, pubs, and water sports, lay a mere 2 miles to the south.Tarpon Springs, and all of its historic points of interest, antique shops, and many street festivals, lay 5 miles to the north.
This property is located on a very quiet street in Ozona, that ends only 350 feet away at the Gulf of Mexico. A sunset walk to the end of the street (with or without cocktails in hand) is highly recommended.
The grounds are completely dog friendly with both front and back yards fenced. Outdoor amenities include shared use of a large fire pit, large outdoor eating and entertainment area, and gas grill.
The guesthouse is a studio apartment of approx. 400 sq. ft., with a queen size bed, beautiful bathroom, and small kitchen which includes a refrigerator, microwave, oven, cooktop, and Kuerig coffee pot. All cooking essentials are included.
***Please be aware that this property consists of the Guesthouse and the Bungalow. In this listing you are renting the Guesthouse only. There is a good chance that the Bungalow will have guests during your visit. These are 2 completely separate buildings that are about 35 feet apart. They only share the yard, the large fire pit, grill, outdoor dining and entertainment area.

Wonderful welcome

This was a wonderful stay for us. Walking distance to many restaurants and bars in Ozona. Best part was the backyard, which was stocked with balls, a frisbee, and room to run. We felt really welcome here and are already planning our return visit.

Great little guesthouse!

We stayed here for four nights and it was perfect for two adults and two dogs! Very clean and the space was the perfect size. The outdoor area was great to play with the dogs and hang out. Close to a few good restaurants and such yummy ice cream! Pam was very nice and I would highly recommend if you’re staying in the area!

Pam is a wonderful host the bungalow is beautiful and very comfortable downtown is within walking distance. I would highly recommend this place, I will stay here again it was a anniversary suprise for my wife and she loved it.

Good place

This is a cute place for a short stay. It is a well designed converted garage with all the basics, plus available bikes and beach chairs. Outdoor tables, fire pit and a yard are nice place to expand this small space. Plus a great little village and restaurants just minutes away. Would stay again.

Sweet spot in Ozona

Great little spot in nice quiet residential area. Everything you need for a getaway. Very beautiful convenient to “downtown” Ozona, Honeymoon Island and Dunedin. Well appointed guest cottage. Spotless, nicely decorated. Nice outdoor space with fire pit, bikes, chairs, etc. We’ve stayed in a lot of VRBOs and this was one of the nicest.

Perfect cottage

The cabin is a a lovely neighborhood just steps from the ocean. The cottage was beautiful, clean and very high-end. The yard was beautiful was oak trees and outside seating. It was so nice to listen to the birds in the am singing. The owner Pam is so awesome This is a gem!

Clean and quiet

We were pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the property was designed and decorated. It was super clean and homey.The location of the property was in a very quiet neighborhood and close to many restaurants. We didnt have a car so having the bikes to use all week, made it so easy to go to the store and beach ! The hostess Pam was wonderful! We loved our stay and we will definitely be back again and again!

Wow! Better than expected

Had a dog that needed a dog park for exercise. Little did i know the yard was big enough to substitute for one. The design of this small unit was perfect. 2 day stay was great in all respects.

Enjoyable stay!

Everything was “as promised and expected” which is nice. It was just my wife and I so the guesthouse was perfect size wise. We ate twice at Molly Goodheads (which is in walking distance) because the first time was so good and we weren’t disappointed by the second time either! Honeymoon Island is close but we would much rather do a short drive north to Fred Howard Park….it too has a causeway to an island with beaches around it but it is smaller, prettier and costs less for parking. Overall, the residence and location were perfect!

Perfection. Would love to go back again

First, the cleanliness was amazing. Second, it is so close to Honeymoon Island, which is a small piece of heaven. The property is all that was expected and claimed. Pam was an amazing host and thought of anything that you might have forgotten. The mattress was comfortable, as I saw in another review. The location is perfect, in a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of some nice eating spots, driving distance to anything else you may need. Would stay again, if the opportunity arises. The Carriage House was very clean.The bed was a bit uncomfortable and the couch was not sturdy enough for two. This is the first vbro that did not have a book about the town and its restaurants and places to see.Also, it could have a few more amenities such as a corkscrew and a few microwave cooking plastic bowls.The bathroom was adorable. We had to buy more toilet paper which should have been provided for more than two days.All in all, it was a nice stay, but with a bit more effort, the experience could have been very memorable!
