About Waverly Rennie
My husband and I live in Dunedin but go for long bike-camping trips on our tandem bicycle as often as we can. We love to take the ferry from Dunedin to Clearwater- a cheap dolphin cruise through the beautiful waters of Saint Joseph's Sound.
Why Waverly Rennie chose Dunedin
My great-grandfather came to Dunedin in 1922 and built a home a few blocks north, and my granddad had his photography studio just across the way. We love watching sunset at the marina and enjoying the restaurants on Main Street. This area is my idea of a perfect place to vacation and live!

2 week stay
Wonderful 2 week stay at this cute cottage. Loved that it was so close to downtown. We will be back.
Great location, loved Coral Cottage!
We really enjoyed our 10 days at Coral Cottage. The location was perfect - within easy walking distance to downtown Dunedin, the Pinellas Trail, and Edgewater Dr for walks along the water. The cottage was very clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We especially appreciated the pre-stocked items - paper products, spices in the kitchen, and coffee supplies. We'd stay there again and recommend it to other couples!
Great stay. Nice neighborhood
Sweet little cottage in paradise
This little cottage is precious and it was spotlessly clean. I appreciated both the quaintness and the tidiness.
It is so close to town and both Dunedin and it’s people fall nothing short of perfect.
Perfect Florida cottage
Beautiful, clean, convenient.
Location. Location. Location.
Loved the stay here. The place is DARLING. Tastefully decorated, comfortable, and feels like home from the moment you step in. The hosts have thought of everything and provide everything you need. What I really loved is the location. You'll rarely need your car. The cottage is just a few blocks from everything you'll want to see and do (you can easily walk to downtown Dunedin, the Pinellas trail, the water, the stadium). And you can catch the Jolly Trolley to get to St Pete, Clearwater, Tarpon. Highly recommend.
This cottage is in a highly-walkable quaint downtown of a historic Old Florida community. A couple of blocks's walk takes you to the Fenway Hotel, a Jazz-Age landmark, the water's edge, and the many shops and restaurants on Main Street. The ferry between Dunedin and Clearwater offers a fun, budget cruise to enjoy the view of the small islands in Saint Joseph's Sound, and sometimes offers dolphin-spotting! It's a 15 minute drive north to Honeymoon Island State Park, a marvelous quiet beach spot, or a 15-20 minute drive south to Clearwater Beach, a happening beach town with lots of action.
