A delightful cabin located looking down onto Alpine Helen, this two-story is ideal for an adventurous weekend getaway or family vacation. Above The Rest is an inviting place to sit back and rock on the porch or enjoy the relaxing hot tub, while also being close to Helen.

If you decide to head out to explore the area, you will find an unlimited amount of activities to choose from for any age. The cabin's location is within walking distance from Georgia's first Alpine Coaster where you can glide through the lush mountain forest as fast or as slow as you want to go. Let the kids mine for gold or take them mini-golfing with a sweet treat after. In the summertime, tub down the river or enjoy the Helen Waterpark. For the older crowd, enjoy the nightlife of Downtown Helen. After your busy day of adventuring, come back and enjoy the tranquility of Above The Rest!

Very cozy!!! Beautifully designed and an amazing view of the river. The hot tubs were perfect and the beds were so comfy. Everything was very clean and well stocked. We absolutely loved the place!

The cabin is perfect! Great location with an easy walk to downtown (as long as you can handle the driveway up and down since it is a pretty steep hill). The cabin was very clean and the kitchen had all the amenities. We couldn't have asked for anything more awesome!

The cabin was clean. We didn’t like that kitchen and family room were on separate floors. Lamp lighting would be nice. Hot tub was great!Driveway was an issue extremely steep and difficult to turn around. So steep at driveway entrance that a SUV and a sedan bottomed out. Not ideal for seniors due to number of steps and driveway.

Nice quiet location. However, you cannot walk to nearby shops and restaurants due to the steep hill cabin is on. Also it would be nice if there was a washer/dryer.

We decided to take one vehicle because of reviews on driveway. we drove a 4 wheel drive and still had some sliding issues with back end. hard to turn around once parked in a bigger vehicle. Overall location was great but we did drive and pay for parking because of steepness of driveway. The only other issues, We couldnt get trash can to lock and we all agreed the Bedrooms need side tables with lamps

This was such beautiful and relaxing stay! Reading in the hot tub, watching movies in the cozy den, and walking to town for dinner made this such a restful trip.

Great town. Lovely cabin, but be prepared to walk up and down steep hill & driveway. Recommend having a 4x4 vehicle that doesnt sit low to the ground in order to successfully make it up into the driveway. Other than that, everything was beautiful!!

I’m not sure I noticed if the listing had a washer and dryer, but it definitely does not, which was a little disappointing. The driveway was slippery when wet which was scary since I do not have 4 wheel drive.The staff support was excellent, and the house was private and quiet. The hot tub was a bonus for sure

Great cabin with a great view! Comfy beds, very clean, and a well-equipped kitchen.Town is a short walk, but driveway is VERY steep which makes the walk a little challenging.

Nice cabin! Clean and well supplied. Nice decor and I especially loved the extra quilts. Beds were a bit stiff for my preference, but overall good. Communications were great with daily messages to make sure everything was fine. Unfortunately the blind approach from the road and extremely steep narrow driveway will prevent us from coming back. Even with an SUV I scraped my car trying to get out onto the road.

We loved the location, the hot tub and the property. Our only con that prevented a 5 star rating was how steep the driveway is. It’s very hard to turn around and hard to walk up.
