Esta es una casa frente al lago de un piso ubicada en Cooper Lake en Lutz, Florida. La casa fue ampliada y actualizada en 2012. La parte trasera de la casa está rodeada por un gran porche con mosquitero. El dormitorio principal, la sala de estar / comedor y una habitación de invitados tienen puertas francesas que se abren al porche. La habitación principal y una de invitados tienen camas king size y el tercer dormitorio tiene una cama queen size. El baño principal solo tiene una ducha. El baño de visitas tiene una combinación de bañera / ducha. Hay una sala de lavandería separada.

Hay una cochera. Hay una pequeña parrilla de gas.
La casa está ubicada en una calle sin salida. Tenemos a alguien que corta el césped y cuida el patio.

Esta es nuestra casa de invierno para enero, febrero y marzo.
Nos encanta porque es un vecindario tranquilo que se encuentra cerca de todo y tenemos vecinos increíbles. Espero que si alguien alquila esta casa la traten con respeto y la amen tanto como a nosotros.

Peaceful, beautiful, relaxing and healing.

My husband was a Moffitt patient. We needed a place to stay for 2 months to be close for treatments. Bonnie has her home set up for a relaxing peaceful recovery. The home has everything you need. The screen room is so relaxing. The water view is amazing. We enjoyed the wildlife. The Sandhill Cranes would come for peanuts.

Moffit Stay

We had to come into town for a month as my husband had some treatments at Moffit Cancer Center, This house was perfect for us, during my husbands recovery this is the perfect place to recover that’s for sure, Bonnie was the perfect host, any questions or concerns just a txt away and she was right on it. This house was 15-20 min from Moffit as we had to go there every single day, I definitely would recommend this house for your stay, I know if I ever need to rebook Bonnie’s house is the one

The pictures on VRBO were spot on. A very lovely home. The owners were great and great with communications. We definitely give a 10 out of 10. You will not be disappointed

Lake house

My husband is a Moffitt patient, and we stayed at this house during some of his treatment! I wish it would have been available for our whole time of treatment! It was very clean. It was very peaceful and tastefully decorated. It was well furnished and the bed was very comfortable. It never took more than 15 minutes to get to Moffitt. The neighborhood is very quiet. The owner was very easy to communicate with and friendly. This place was such a welcome reprieve from our hotel stays! I would highly recommend 😃

Our Oasis near Moffitt Cancer Center

Our family rented this lakehouse to be near Moffitt Cancer Center. The drive to all appointments took 15-20 minutes, and there were many grocery or store options nearby. I was a caregiver for my father and worked remotely during my stay. The Wi-Fi was excellent for all my work needs. When we walked in, it felt like home, and I believe this was a perfect setting that helped to keep us calm and focus on his healing. The owners have put a lot of thought and care into this home, and we had everything we needed. Our favorite part was the openness of the layout and the full view of the lake and nature from almost any part of the house. The owner was attentive and made sure all was well during our stay. Thank you to the owners for sharing their home. I recommend this lakehouse. The layout of all the rooms was comfortable and inviting. It was a challenging time for our family. However, we created some great memories together in this home, and my father is responding well to his treatment.

Sanctuary

I wanted to wrap my arms around this lovely home and hug it when leaving. We spent 7 weeks here while my husband had surgery and care at Moffitt Hospital. From the moment I saw the photos the home spoke to me. Upon arriving it did not disappoint. With no more than a few steps inside you sense the warmth and comfort along with the beautiful and calming lake view. My husband spent many hours on the patio reading, listening to music and watching the wildlife come and go including Sandhills Cranes that frequently graced us with their presence. Everything you could possibly want is provided and I do mean everything. The beds are comfortable with wonderful linens, towels galore, the kitchen was equipped as if I was in my own home. I would often find myself standing in the kitchen looking out at the lake view and feel extremely thankful that Bonnie, the homeowner, so generously, allows others to share her home. Communication with Bonnie from beginning to end was amazing. If I could wrap my arms around her and give her a hug also I would. Location is amazing. Everything is nearby - Publix, Target and Walmart all within a few miles or less. It was a convenient drive each day going to and from Moffitt. This sweet home will forever be etched in my heart. It became a sanctuary and helped both my husband and me get through a trying and emotional time. Goodby Lake House. You will be missed and never forgotten.

There are so many positives

There are all good things to say about this property. In particular, my husband and I were there because of treatments at Moffit Cancer Center. If you are looking for a home away from home for an impending long stay at Moffit, look no further. This is truly a place of peace and rest between treatments. The home is beautiful, the upkeep and condition is unparalleld, the equisite full length lanai view of the lake is calming, soothing, breathtaking. Have no fear about needing anything; there is nothing this owner has not done to prepare you for all that will be required for a satisfying stay- and then more. If you are lacking anything, a notice to the owner will be quickly responded to and your needs will be addressed to satisfaction. A visit from our family elicited the following ," How will you leave such a beautiful peaceful place ? " There are no words to express the appreciation for this porperty owner for taking such care to ensure a peaceful haven during a trying time. If you are expecting a long stay at Moffit, do not delay in ensuring this is the place you will be blessed to have for your out of town lodging.

Perfect for Us!

Getting my husbands cancer diagnosis was hard. Hearing that we would have to live away from home after his hospital stay added another dimension to the hard. We looked at hotels and apartments near the hospital but they only increased the angst. Then we saw Bonnie’s house on VRBO. It felt like a breath of fresh air…ok…We can do this. I contacted Bonnie. She got back to me right away. And here we are! The house is even better than the pictures. It is lovely and fully equipped. The beds are comfortable. Everything works great and Bonnie is ready to answer any questions we might have. The road through the neighborhood is quiet…a great place to walk. The varied birds , playful squirrels, skittering geckos, sunshine and moonlight mirrored in beautiful cooper lake can all be enjoyed from the fabulous screened lanai. This home has been a perfect recovery retreat. A gift from God. A home away from home!

Perfect location while at Moffitt

Started as outpatient at Moffitt, but was also inpatient. Ideal location and perfect place to relax after full days at Moffitt. Cooper Lake was serene and peaceful. Supplies were rhere, and Bonnie, the owner, stayed in touch with us and answered our questions. If available for my future appointments, will be back! Thank you, Bonnie!

Moffitt treatements

Bonnie's home is just so peaceful and private. The lanai was our favorite spot daily for a little respite. Her home is equipped very well and we were able to be close to Moffitt Cancer Center for the last 5 weeks of my husbands treatments. Would highly recommend and wish we had a few more days there. Great Stay!

I can’t say enough great things about this house! You can tell this isn’t “just a rental” but rather someone’s home that is tastefully decorated, comfortable and well organized. The neighborhood is peaceful and friendly. Neighbors on both sides are welcoming and helpful. They introduced themselves and offered to assist us with anything needed. The house centers around the view of the lake, and what a view! Since the house faces north you will never have the hot sun glaring into the front or back of the house. It was as if you were looking at a live work of art at all times of the day. We spent quite a bit of time on the huge screened porch, the multiple ceiling fans providing a breeze on warm days. As someone who loves to cook, always laugh when I get to a rental that brags about a “kitchen with everything you need to make a gourmet meal.” There are usually some nasty frying pans and pathetic looking utensils. That is NOT the case here! You truly have anything you need at your fingertips. In fact, it became a running joke that if something popped into my head that I needed, I was sure I’d find it. Measuring tape? Yup. Umbrella? Of course! Chip clips? Yes. The Maytag washer and dryer were fabulous, I wish I would have used them before I recently purchased my Samsungs. I prefer these! There are several Publix grocery stores conveniently located nearby. If you like meat, go to Johns Butcher Shop less than a mile away. We bought some meats to take home with us, it’s that good! Villagio Italian Restaurant about 2 miles away is like a throwback in time, excellent food and service. We also dined at Umami Sushi and Sacred Pepper a few times, both fantastic. There are many great restaurants that are nearby. Had my hair washed and blow dried by Sawyer at Salon Zed twice, nails done by Tricia at Bali Nail salon twice also. Both places a 5 minute drive. Our purpose for our stay was for my boyfriend’s treatment at Moffitt Cancer Center, Magnolia Campus (at USF.) The drive was always pleasant and quick, regardless of time of day. There’s no such this as “rush hour” from this house to the USF/Moffitt campus. This home was exactly what we needed for a stressful time in our lives. It provided a peaceful respite from the cancer diagnosis that hangs over our heads and is presently consuming our lives. My daughter visited for 2 nights and when she left she said, “Mom, I think you guys are going to miss this place when you leave!” She is 100% correct!

Wonderful recovery home for Moffit Cancer Center Patient and Family.

I cannot say enough great things about this home. I did a LOT of research to make sure that I could find a home that was close to Moffit and appropriate for our needs. The area near the hospital is a little transient so to book this home which was approximately 20 minutes away with a beautiful lake view offered the serenity, safety and comfort that we needed. My husband stayed at the home full-time while I was in the hospital for the first eight days driving back and forth daily and my brothers flew in and out from out of state. I joined them once discharged to begin my recovery. The home is absolutely meticulous, well organized, beautifully decorated and offers all of the comforts of home. The beds are a great quality as well as the linens, towels, appliances, etc. We rented the property for 30 days which enabled me to travel back-and-forth to Moffit for my follow-up appointments before returning back to the East Coast of Florida. The neighborhood is very safe and the neighbors incredibly friendly and helpful. You can tell that they think a lot of the owner. Our little Maltese dog, Piper felt immediately at home and I felt so happy that she was welcomed. Anyone who came to visit told me this was the absolute best decision and I agree 100% The owner Bonnie, was fully accessible if we had any questions. I thought enough of this home to forward the information to Moffit for future patients.

Peaceful and Relaxing Lakefront Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We awoke to beautiful lake views, caught a few fish, and enjoyed many sunsets in this peaceful home. The owners have everything there that you might need and were responsive and attentive to any request or question we had. The home is well appointed is even more beautiful than the pictures. Everything seems new and updated. We were grateful for our stay and would highly recommend.

Amazing stay at Lake View!

We had a fantastic stay at Bonnie's house, at Lake House! Awesome views to the lake, great area to stay, and fantastic house, such a dream place that we didn't want to leave. Inside the house there are all things that you may need, and the three rooms have really comfortable and big beds. We will never forget the views of the lake from all the house, and the porche a must to stay at! The reality much better than the pictures, hope to come another time if possible. Thanks Bonnie!

Lake House - Wake up with a beautiful lake view

Our stay has been an excellent opportunity to relax, enjoy the view, listen and appreciate nature. You can also explore the lake with a kayak/canoe (bring your own). The house was supplied with kitchen utensils, towels, bedsheets, cleaners, etc. The house is small, so it's is very easy to clean. Quiet neighborhood. Parking space is limited. We loved the white colors inside. There are also several decorations...families with small children should be careful. The owners are very attentive and immediately respond to any questions.
