Fantastic house in the perfect location!

This house was everything we hoped for: Newly renovated, with clean and modern amenities throughout. Short walk to the beach. Gorgeous infinity pool and hot tub. Large kitchen and a nice grilling patio to boot. Would highly recommend! Also a shout out to Sweetgrass Properties that manages the house—they did a fantastic job.

Incredible House on Kiawah

We greatly enjoyed our week long stay at this property. The floor plan is bright and open and the entire home is beautifully decorated and recently renovated. The bedrooms are spacious and the adjoining bathrooms are very nice. The amenities are fantastic. We loved the outdoor area with the pool and spa and the view of the lagoon from the deck is gorgeous. The house location is perfect with a very short walk (couple of minutes) to the beach. We highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

Lovely home

Perfect size for our family. Perfect location for the beach and location for groceries and getting on and off the island. A few items to improve on drying pad for dishes, more towels for kitchen and floor in main master needs mildew removed And we did have a pretty big water leaking from ceiling in stairwell….. was reported. Of course there was A LOT of rain a couple of nights All in all we will probably consider staying next year Thank you

I wanted to clarify for future renters that we do have additional towels and a drying mat in the kitchen now! We had the home thoroughly cleaned and found no sign of mildew. The roof leak has also been repaired! We have a brand new roof, but it appeared one of the tiles had lifted during a storm. But all is well now. Again, I appreciate your review and feedback, and we hope to host again! Take care!

Outside patio area looks like it hasn't been power washed in quite sometime. Deck and windows covered in bugs. Stains on some inside furniture. Shower was mildewed. Loft seemed very dirty. Needs to be cleaned. Kitchen was pretty well stocked. Great location.

The cleaning team is addressing the shower and inside furniture immediately, so those will no longer be a problem. The property manager is also talking with the owner to schedule a time to pressure wash the outdoor patio area. This should be taken care of soon too. Entered the property to huge dead roaches and dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Appeared the property had not been properly cleaned prior to our arrival. Water shut off at 9 pm. Was resolved in a timely fashion but should have never happened. Pool was not cleaned out.

Both the cleaning team and the property management team are aware of this and will take appropriate measures to mitigate these issues and miscommunications moving forward! However, we did want to address the items that you did mention. The pool is cleaned twice a week so debris may fall into the pool on non-cleaning days. Lovely Beach Home

Our family had an amazing week at 181 Glen Abbey. We loved everything about your well appointed home. The adults especially all enjoyed the comfort of King size beds for the 3 couples. The children had a big time in the pool. Your location is excellent. So nice to take the short walk along the beautiful path to the beach. Perfect!

Beach Fun

We very much enjoyed our stay. 181 is a beautiful home. We all lives the walk to the beach over the bridge, cooked some great meals in the well equipped kitchen, and had lots of fun in the pool. The locks on the sliding glass doors in the back of the house are broken making it impossible to lock the house up and despite following the provided directions for the hot tub to the letter we were never able to get it going.

The property manager is aware of the problem with the sliding glass doors and has already taken measures to fix this issue. As for the hot tub, we have never had any complaints from guests in the past about getting it to work. We reached out to the property manager about this as well and she mentioned that the pool/hot tub company has looked into any issues with this and said that the hot tub is working properly. June 20 - 27 Visit

The house is beautiful and was very clean and comfortable. The boys enjoyed the pool. The location is convenient to the beach and the neighborhood is lovely. Staff was responsive & we were brought a replacement coffee maker Sunday morning. We have one complaint, however. The house has plenty of room for three families (ourselves, two daughters, & their families),yet one of the two garages was locked & unavailable. We could park only one car and three bikes inside and the other two cars and bikes filled the driveway.

We did want to mention that the second garage area that you mentioned is used for the owner as storage, hence while it is unavailable for guests to park inside there. There is still ample parking for an additional 2-3 cars in the driveway. Per the Kiawah Island ordinances, guests are not permitted to have more than this amount of vehicles in the driveway anyway. Fabulous beach house

The house was wonderful! All rooms were beautifully decorated, the beds were very comfortable, loved the proximity to the beach, and the outdoor space really made it special.

Loved The House! Great Location!

Had a great time out on Kiawah! The pool was awesome. Will definitely be returning soon!

Perfect ,

It was perfect , gorgeously appointed , bedrooms for adults , wonderful kitchen to cook in, and the pool was well used by everyone . We had several issues , and Sweetgrass managers were responsive .

The perfect family vacation house

One of the best family vacations we have taken. Amazing house, deck, pool. Beautiful furnishings and amenities. Everything we needed and more. Large comfortable bedrooms and adjoining luxury bathrooms. Large kitchen, outdoor grill. Easy walk to beach for bike riding, swim and sun. Close to golf and tennis. Everything was state of the art and extremely well maintained. Can't wait to go back !
