One of the best rentals we’ve stayed in.
Thank you Judy
Perfect Home = Perfect Vacation!!
We really appreciated getting to meet one of the owners Judy who gave us a tour of the house, she took the time to tell us where everything was and how it worked. It is a warm inviting home that makes you feel welcome as soon as you enter. No matter what we needed we were able to find it in this well stocked home. The large deck overlooking the water gave us a panoramic view of the bay with all kinds of boats, and we woke each morning to a beautiful sunrise. This was our first time visiting that part of Maine one of the purposes of the trip was to visit with my brother who lives in the area. He has a boat moored at the Stockton Bay harbor so it was a short trip to his boat. We spent many hour watching him catch lobsters for our dinner. We loved that we were not far from the town which had everything we needed and we could get there within minutes. This house suited all our needs and we enjoyed a fantastic vacation and some quality family time.
Barbara G. St George, Utah
My daughter and her husband joined us at this wonderful location. The house was located with a beautiful view of the bay. It was peaceful and quiet, the sun rises were stunning. the home is well equipped, clean and host was very attentive. Later in the week another couple joined us. We enjoyed eating at Rollie's in Belfast (only 10 minutes drive south). One day was spent in the Bar Harbor area. (beautiful area) Belfast is really the best area for grocery shopping and eating. We all enjoyed our stay and hope to return again next year only we plan to stay at least two weeks. This was my second time in Maine and I hope to return, the others in our party had never been in this area and loved it. Thanks for a wonderful week.
Beautiful home in a wonderful spot
We have stayed in several Maine homes over the years but this was far and away our favorite. The home has a light, open and airy feel to it that just makes you feel happy and relaxed. Spotlessly clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The deck is large and very private with beautiful water views and warm morning sun. The neighborhood includes many nice homes on sprawling properties, is within easy walking distance of town and is a convenient location for exploring both the Rockland/Camden/Belfast area and the Blue Hill/Deer Isle area. Owners were very nice. Highly recommend this rental and would expect to return in the future.
This was our second stay, and it was as perfect as the first. Here you can birdwatch right on the private shore of the property. We saw loons, comorants, ospreys, herring gulls, laughing gulls, nighthawks, and a blue heron. We checked the tidepools at low tide and found periwinkles, limpets, mussels, crabs, hermit crabs, and baby eels. This house is spacious, airy, clean, well-maintained and fully stocked. Great location, with privacy, yet close to restaurants and towns. The owners are terrific, too. I highly recommend this rental.
Our 3rd vacation on Savage Ln.
Our family had our 3rd stay in Searsport this August. My grand-children ages 2 and 3 loved their private beach and never wanted to leave. This is a great location for families with children, because there is also Mosman State Park, a mile away and the Searport town beach and playground. We have never found them crowded. Both offer new playgrounds, safe beaches, peaceful water views and Mosman even has a few hiking trails perfect for kids. As for the adults, we loved just sitting on the deck, enjoying the water view with a glass of wine and lobster from Young's. What could be better!
Near Acadia National Park where whale watching is available. Also near scenic Camden\Rockland area, several ferries leave from Lincolnville and Rockland to small islands off the coast,
