Ejere af "Sunset Cabin" har nu "Morning Glory" -hytte!

Kabinen "Morning Glory" har panoramaudsigt over Dolly sods, Canaan Valley og toppen af Port Crayon fra køkkenvinduet!

"Morning Glory" er en nybygget hytte. Hun tilbyder en fredelig, afslappende atmosfære, hvor vores gæster kan blive forfriskede og gendannet indefra og ud!

Smuk flodsten vedfyret pejs er hjertet i kabinen. Vi leverer tændings træ og træstammer i nogle nætter af dit ophold.

Master soveværelse har en king size seng. Loftet har to dobbeltsenge, stort skab og masser af plads.

Badeværelset kan prale med ekstra stort bruseniche! Køkken har for nylig købt apparater, gryder og pander osv.

Nyd boblebadet og den lille dam i baghaven.

Masser af udeservering og en kulgrill til madlavning samt en udendørs brand ...

Slap af i den private underafdeling af "Cherry Ridge" og oplev dyreliv i landlige omgivelser!

Vær tålmodig med vores nye hytteanlæg, det kan tage lidt tid at få græs mv etableret😁

Everything was very nice, the scenic views, the weather, the cabin, everything! Dan and Barbara were kind to offer us recommendations on the trails and restaurants, We mostly hiked, so we didn't spend a lot of time in the cabin, but the cabin was secluded and beautiful. Perfect for a romantic getaway.

Our stay was wonderful and relaxing. Dan and Barbara are the best hosts. The location is like no other that we've stayed at. Beautiful mountain scenery, peaceful and relaxing.

Beautiful property that was private but central to everything you need. We enjoyed the quietness of the location as well as the amenities like the hot tub. The hosts were very helpful by welcoming us and helping us get accustomed to the house.

Dan and Barbara were incredibly gracious hosts who made themselves available throughout. The cabin was beautifully maintained, clean, and in a gorgeous location. It was especially wonderful to have access to the feeding the horses carrots and relaxing in the hot tub, in addition to the tranquil setting with astounding night sky views. The location is superb, as it is only a short drive to nearby Davis and Thomas, WV as well as plenty of hiking trails in Dolly Sods, Seneca Rock, and Blackwater Falls. Cannot speak highly enough of our stay and of Dan and Barbara who were unbelievably kind and generous.

Beautiful location, in a private mountain community. Dan, the property owner lives nearby and stopped by when we arrived and showed us the in's and out's of the cabin and hot tub. Very nice gentleman and we enjoyed chatting with him! Cabin was extremely well appointed with everything we needed and nicely decorated. Comfortable bed, nice kitchen and bathroom. The hot tub was a nice welcome home after a day of exploring the area. The horses across the road were lots of fun to visit. We bought apples to treat Chief, Rudy and Jeanna the donkey daily! We would definitely stay there again!

Fantastic only begins to describe our 4 night stay. This place is really out of the way, even for WVa. It’s wonderfully quiet with a super- dark night sky. A short drive to Dolly Sods and Canaan Valley, a bit longer to Seneca Rocks and Spruce Knob.Be sure to follow the owner's directions to get to the cabin. Ignore the GPS or whatever navigation system you have. Honest.

Perfectly Relaxing Mountain Retreat

Thank you so much to our incredible hosts for creating such a beautiful vacation spot!! Stunning cabin and peaceful mountain setting!! Barb and Dan have thought of everything to make guests comfortable! We also enjoyed visiting with them and learning about all the area had to offer!! We found a gem and hope we can make it back again! This place would be an absolutely perfect autumn getaway!

Had everything that we expected plus much more.If you forget something, they have you covered with kitchen spices, coffee, oil etc and bathroom essentials.The house and the hosts were wonderful as well.

Barb and Dan are exceptional hosts! We have stayed in Sunset Cabin and Morning Glory and always want to stay longer! Their beautiful cozy cabins are filled with anything you could possibly need. Whether you are looking for picturesque mountain views or peaceful serene porch surrounded by nature -either cabin will do! We spent many hours on the porch, even stays dry in the rain!

3rd anniversary get away

We absolutely loved it horses walking around the cabin The view how peaceful and quiet it was out there. We really enjoyed feeding the horses and the donkey that was out there and the owners were very helpful. I never get back out that way I'll definitely be going there. Thanks

Amazing

Could have not asked for a better stay! Owners were wonderful and always available. Quiet, peaceful and having the horses greet you good morning was the cherry on top! 5 stars all around.

Perfect cozy getaway

While the weather was fairly grey for most of our stay, this cabin was the perfect place to be cozy and relaxed while on vacation. The area was blissfully quiet and peaceful, and the horses knew the drill on who to come to for treats. Would love to come down again for the fall when the trees are changing. Definitely a place you want to visit again. And well worth the drive down!

An absolutely amazing place to stay

We have been coming back for years and just love it! The cabin and surrounding area are peaceful, quiet, tranquil. Barb and Dan treat us like family… top notch hosts! Don’t hesitate to visit this cozy little cabin in Dryfork, WVA :)

Great place and hosts!

The cabin was amazing and Barb and Dan were excellent hosts! They were very communicative during checkin and offered their help if we needed anything at all during our stay. Dan even restocked the firewood while we were there, which was very much appreciated. We can’t wait to go back!

We are the vacation owners of "Sunset Cabin" in "Cherry Ridge," listing number 356030.

We enjoyed our little cabins so much that we decided to build another similar to "Sunset Cabin."

We made "Morning Glory" a little bigger, improved the bathroom, and added central air conditioning.

We are from the Tidewater area of Virginia. We moved here to the mountains of WV about 17 plus years ago for skiing, hunting, and hiking but stayed for the summers!

This area of WV has so much to offer for the outdoor enthusiast.: numerous hiking trails, horseback riding, star gazing, hunting, fishing, golfing, kayaking, etc...

All four seasons have something spectacular to offer. This is why we love it here...nature at its best!

Our private subdivision, "Cherry Ridge," is a unique place to visit.

Close enough to Canaan Valley state park, Timberline ski resort, Davis, and Thomas but far enough away to feel like you really have gotten away from the business of city life!

The sounds of Nature and abundant wildlife can be experienced here in this peaceful, relaxing setting!

Our goal is for couples to experience the beauty in the stillness ...one of the darkest spots on the east coast enables our guests to see the stars as never before!

We want our guests to walk away relaxed and refreshed for the journey ahead...choose "Morning Glory!" and experience the change!

Our cabins are centrally located to many attractions. All are within 20-45 minutes of the cabins.

The new cabin has central air, a large walk-in shower, and plenty of outdoor seating.

I’m addition, plenty of firewood is provided for a couple of cozy nights around the campfire outside or the fireplace inside!

Enjoy the sunsets and the sunrises from our "Morning Glory” cabin!
