Rustic and romantic, spacious and secluded the Toucan House is large enough for 8 and cozy enough for 2. It is a self catering accomodation where a couple, or family will find wonderful comfort, quietude and privacy, yet only minutes by foot to the best shelling beach on Sanibel. In the lush tropical neighborhood of Sanibel Bayous on the far west end of the island, this home offers a true island experience, as well as abundant nature. Toucan House is a holiday home for all seasons. Central air conditioning, makes it a cool place to spend summer: several quiet ceiling fans make spring time a breeze, and for the winter nights there is a working wood burning fireplace. Kids love the game room featuring ping pong, hoops, yard Jenga, yard Yahtzee and multiple board games & puzzles. A large cedar bar and bar stools lend itself to being a spectator for those ping pong tournaments. The pool set in natural stone, ferns and beach sand offers your own private beach with lounge chairs and hammock.

Wonderful place!

Literally everything was provided by the host and home was spotless. Enjoyed the friendly neighborhood, being close to the beach and the pool……amazing!

Vacation Paradise

Stop at Baileys or Jerry's Grocery before going to this home..once you arrive at the home you will be so content you will not want to leave... The .Home was Beautifully Decorated....offered 3 bedrooms and everything needed for your stay.. the loft bedroom was a total hit offering two full size beds and opens to an enclosed balcony that overlooked the pool....I really enjoyed sitting and having my breakfast or just a cup of coffee on the enclosed lanai....The downstairs gameroom was equipped for hours of fun.....The Pool was just Amazing...loved the Beach area it provided and the Hammock to relax on...The home is 5 minutes from Bowman Beach which makes the bike ride so relaxing.. .This home is a must to stay in....Schedule today..You will not be disappointed!!!❤🌴

Wonderful Vacation Rental

Our family really enjoyed our time here! The house is very clean, private, and well equipped. The saltwater pool was really nice, too! It even has a little sandy area set up. Great location, close to the beach, and not far at all to the groceries and restaurants. It is the perfect place for a relaxing beach and pool vacation.

Amazing!

The pictures do not do this home justice! We had an amazing stay everything you can imagine is provided. You really only have to pack your clothes. Will absolutely be booking again!
