My lovely Kihei Akahi condo, features a cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit with a stunning ocean view! It’s a clean, peaceful place with a lanai that offers a beautiful ocean view. The condo has been lovingly remodeled and decorated in a Hawaiian style, complete with artwork from local artists, so you’ll find everything you need to unwind. Come and experience the Aloha spirit of Maui and enjoy life!

This condo is perfect for special people like you who love the luxury of sipping your first cup of coffee on the lanai, watching the sky and ocean change colors, smelling the plumeria, and listening to the birds. Or, you can enjoy a Maui sunset with a Mai Tai before a romantic moonlight walk on the beach.

The fully equipped kitchen lets you whip up your favorite meals if you’re feeling adventurous, or you can stroll a short distance to some of the best restaurants and shops in Kihei. Wailea is just a five-minute drive away for more shopping and dining.

Located on the 4th floor of the C building in Kihei Akahi, just 100 yards from the soft sands and warm waters of Kamaole Beach II, you can relax on the beach, snorkel, boogie board, or body surf. The tropical breeze naturally cools the condo when you open the windows. Plus, it’s not near the elevator, so you’ll enjoy a quiet, restful sleep.

The unit includes beach towels, mats, an umbrella, chairs, and a cooler for your use. If you enjoy walking, a path along the beach connects to the Wailea resort area. There’s also an activity desk at the complex to help you plan activities like luaus, Molokini trips, and more. Since I live nearby, I have a guest book with some of my favorite Maui activities, restaurants, snorkeling spots, and beaches.

The Kihei Akahi tennis and pickleball court opens at 7:00 a.m., so you can get in a game early. Golf is available at one of six world-class courses within a 5-10 minute drive.

I take great pride in keeping the condo in excellent condition, focusing on both its aesthetic appeal and cleanliness. Smoking is not allowed inside or on the lanai, and pets are not permitted.

Berney’s place was absolutely perfect. This was our first trip to Hawaii, and the area exceeded all of our expectations. The condo had everything we needed—a well-equipped, functional kitchen, a comfortable living room, a cozy queen bed, a washer and dryer, and a fantastic patio. Watching sunsets and even spotting whales right from the patio was an unforgettable bonus!We also really appreciated the thoughtful extras like beach chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler. The beach is just a short two-minute walk away, along with amazing cinnamon rolls and shaved ice. We loved spending our mornings and late afternoons reading on the patio.The location is very central and convenient—about a 10-minute drive to the grocery store and pharmacy, with plenty of coffee shops, great restaurants, and food trucks nearby. Berney is a wonderful host, and we especially loved joining him at the canoe club for the visitor paddle, where we were just feet away from a mama and baby humpback whale—truly amazing.Highly recommend! Aloha, I’m Berney. I moved to Maui back in 2007 and retired, and since then, I’ve really gotten into Hawaiian culture and tried out all sorts of local activities. I’ve been a member of the Rotary Club of Kihei Sunrise and the Kihei Community Association. I’m also quite involved with the Kihei Canoe Club, where I run a fitness and technique program. As a cancer survivor, I also paddle fellow survivors at Mana`olana Pink Paddlers. Unlike many Maui Vacation Rental condo owners, I live close by, so I can give you some great advice on things to do, restaurants, and more.

I love sharing the Kihei Akahi condo with others who want to experience Maui’s aloha spirit and all it has to offer. There’s a reason folks say Maui No Ka Oi (Maui is the best). Come and enjoy sunny skies, cooling trade winds, and warm, clear tropical waters. See the fish and plant life that exist nowhere else on earth. Why they chose this property

I purchased this Kihei Akahi condo because it is located at the best beaches in Maui and is just a mile from Wailea. Wailea is the upscale resort in South Maui where there is world class golf and tennis, fine dining, and the Shops at Wailea. But while Wailea is so close, it is also expensive. At Kihei Akahi I found excellent accommodations at a faction of the cost so my guests could spend more time enjoying all that Maui offers. And some of the best restaurants and shopping are within walking distance!

What makes this property unique

The condo includes beach gear - umbrella, towels, ice chest, boogie boards, snorkel, mask and flippers. And having a washer/dryer in the unit allows you to pack light and possibly forego the luggage fee on your trip.

I enjoy helping guests get the most from their Maui experience. I am happy to give restaurant tips, recommendations on activities, and information on some of the best snorkel spots. As a member of the Kihei Canoe Club, I enjoy inviting guests to join me for a morning paddle in an outrigger canoe.

There are many things to do on Maui that don't cost much money or are free. I'd be happy to help you learn about them.
